[TROUT] Site differences on reloads...

I see a different site when I hit Ctrl-N to get a new window, especially on the /about.html page. The pictures in particular change a lot.

Has anyone else seen this anomaly? If so, have all the different pictures that can show up bee analyzed?

Yeah, that's been noticed. A script actually is inserting different text into the image files upon every reload, which is why things look so different.

That text has been compiled into quite a little narrative. Check this thread.

Yeah, you'll see different stuff on any page each time you hit reload/refresh (well, whenever you view the page again). If you were to view a specific picture, like lets say http://www.ilovebees.com/dana.jpg you will see one image. Now keep hitting reload/refresh for a few dozen times and you'll see a few screwed up versions. You will also probably see different texts if you continually refresh any of the website's pages... all of which has been compiled in the wiki and on the board here.

This happens to each page... It has to do with something server side because if you were to right click and save an image to your computer, it will not change and will be exactly what you saw on the screen when you saved it.

Read the boards then comment on what's out there. As far as we can figure, there isn't much else (if anything) left to discover and are kinda just waiting around for the blog or website to update. There are some interesting things going on involving the code on the website and the text found in the images... they seem to be two versions of the same story. Anyway, welcome and have fun!

(*waves to all with first post upon returning*)

Well one thing's for sure, these people know their stuff. I've been really impressed with everything that's going on server-side on ilovebees.com. I mean, if this IS the Beast II, it would make sense that they're prepared for some heavy coding. Right?
