[HUMOUR] Forgetting That You Have The 1-18-08 Site Open... I nearly pissed myself.
Again.
I've done this three times since we found it now, I really need to stop visiting it.

I like to leave the site open before I start making moves on my girlfriend. As soon as things start getting hot and heavy...ROOOOOAAARR...it's worked twice...Too bad it ends all booty-getting abruptly.

I hate that roar, I forgot to close it once and had it on the surround speakers. So it was the middle of the night and the roar is coming and I wake up the whole house with the monster roaring Now I just use the headset on the computer... safer that way in case another one of those background screams will come on the other pages.

Oh, it WAS a problem - I wanted to show the site to my friend, telling, "and in 6 minutes you'll get something schocking". hehe
But 6 minutes is long time so I've told more about people on the pics, about backgrounds of Cloverfield, about viral staff,
about the profiles at MySpacRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRR!!!
I was shocked like my friend,

It scared me once. And that was the last time. Now, when I visit the site, I turn my speakers down.

I wish it would've scared me but I didn't find out about it until it was already posted first. Bleh. The only thing I can remember thinking was "Damn that sounds a lot like the smoke monster from LOST !"

Man, it's caught me so many times, usually late at night and I'm scrambling for the speaker knobs.

Scared the crap out of me when it happened.
I was on the creepy happy talk page of the slusho website clicking on characters looking for secrets. All happy slusho music playing, then exactly when I clicked on the bears eye ROOOOAR. Scared me big time I thought I found a cool secret but then found out it was the other site opened in the background.

I almost died when I did it! I had like 8 tabs open and I usually close that one so I won't get scared but it happened the other day! It's funny there is a topic on this now though!

Yeah, for most ARGs, I keep my speakers off for flash-sites; they like going for cheap scares. Especially JJ Abrams.

ya a couple of my friends and i were surfing cloverfield sites and read about the 6 minute thing. so we opened it and turned his speakers way up cuz we figured it'd be hard to hear or something since we'd never heard it before. after like 5 1/2 mins or so we're like, meh, it's probably nothinHOLYSHIT.
scared the crap outta us, especially since he had his bass turned up as well, it shook the room.

First time I heard the roar was here. So I was never scared by it.

I left it open at work. Stepped into my coworker's office, and am talking to her when a strange, loud roar emits from my own office. I just smiled sheepishly, and crept away.
