Wow...thanks.

"Bite, we got a bite!"...at the end of the ad...poor Marlena.

First I've heard the name "Cloverfield" actually spoken in the dramatic movie announcer voice...have to say, didn't sound all that powerful or intense.

Like the new footage though!

man, this just all seems to get more and more intense every time more footage is released. I was really intrigued by the "we've got a bite" line. I was wondering if that was already in that scene, or if it was over-dubbed there to make it feel like there were going to be little ones, when actually the line came from a different situation.

Oh God, that commercial was amazing. Reminds me of a lot of the old school low-budget horror flicks of the late 80s and early 90s. In a good way, I mean.

I agree: Hearing "we've got a bite" is pretty solid proof in my eyes that there are little monsters of some sort. As for the suggestion that they added a line out of context, the only possible context for it otherwise would be some woman getting excited while fishing. Smile

Is that how GP ends up in NY?

maybe they're trying to lure him in with slusho and they "got a bite" haha. nah j/k

yeah it seems that there are going to be little ones. Which makes me really hope that review from AICN is true, because I think it sounds pretty cool that the monster like rubs against things to get the littles ones off, rather than have them shot off or whatever.

how would the screaming lady know what a "bite" does?? That's what i was thinking about. Like, would it be because its something new that no one knows about and they want to examine it or whatever? Or, did it already happen to a few people, then marlena gets it, and then they're all "oh shit, another one."?? I'm just wondering if the panic is because of

A: They want to study and find out what a bite from them will do, because it is a new situation.

B: It has happened to a few others, and marlena got it after?

C: Somehow, it was already known about the after effects of the "bite"
