might as well confirm minigrumps.

Still not enough evidence, big monster could have small feeler-like tentacles which have mouths on them and bite people.

I think we can drop the "Slusho! makes people explode" rubbish though.

I think there's enough evidence (for me, anyways).

The fluttering/scampering noises in the trailer when they're in the subway
The publicity photo of them holding the door shut, and Beth has small scratches on her arm
The crazy review on AICN which is plausible
"We have a bite".

In my mind I'm 100% satisfied with the evidence. There will be smaller monsters.

And if there aren't, well, I'll be pleasantly surprised. You see, it's a win win situation for me. Either I'm right, or wrong, but happy about being wrong. Cause I kind of don't want smaller monsters.

Mini-monsters: We have a bite?
Maybe this post is a TROUT, but anyways.

Hearing that girl talk about a "bite", I think that the mini-monsters could be really small, like rats.

Cause even a raptor-sized thing would rip any limb away with ease. Leaving more than just a scratch

Just means the bridge bit is before they get attacked, no?

Maybe they try to get out right away and MGP gets the bridge before they can leave?

I'm guessing they attempt to escape early across the bridge only to have it get demolished, getting them effectively stuck on the island.

Funny, I kinda associated the 'bridge' scene, to be part of the Helecopter bit...Dunno...

Im really going to enjoy how they edit the movie as opposed to the trailers.

I really truely hope that they will not have mini monsters....this is a monster movie, if the little guys run around "biting" people....the focus from the big guy will be lost imho.
I hope the mini monsters are just in our heads and that this all ties up, everything going on, to the big guy.

peace.

Yeah the lighting looks similar and there's a helicopter above the bridge, but I don't think they're the same scene. It will be nice to see how it all fits together

Yeah, id like most of the attention to be focused on the big guy, but maybe the little things will have a small lifespan or something. Like they can only be running around for so long until they fall over, or explode or something, that could work and still have most of the focus on biggie.

In all fairness, I think the "parasites/miniMGP's" will/would be a very cool addition. Of course, based on pure spec, the thing that makes them cool is that they are probably not an offspring in the literal sense.

It's like a dog with fleas.

Well, in the trailer, when Rob is talking into the camera, he says "[...], some thing [attacked the city]." Also, when viewing the widget's video, in the top right corner is the phrase, "Some thing has found us", in uppercase. I am 99% the narrator put emphasis on thing.

You mean the monster is a thing?? NO WAI.

/sarcasm
