Wait... what doesn't make sense is why the email would be sent from the Slusho and Tagruato contact name...
KagashimaD? He can't possibly be our Whistleblower...

This is VERY interesting. I guess the tanker certainly doesn't contain oil!
What I just said.
Quote:
"Americans, no oil here! They must have known before they built!"
This is obviously a reference to one of the drilling rigs. One was built on an area that contains no oil, and our Whistleblower theorizes that Tagruato knew this before building the rig. This means that the rig was built to drill for something else or for some other secretive reason. *NOT to drill for oil*
I mean the one in the trailer. The Tagruato tanker that gets destroyed. People were thinking it was filled with oil, which would be why the explosion occurs early on in the movie.

The name Charles Scott may refer to:

Charles L. Scott (1827–1899), U.S. Representative from California
Charles L. Scott (WWII general), former commander of U.S. 2nd Armored Division
Charles Scott (ambassador), British ambassador to Russia
Charles Scott, Sr. (lawyer), lawyer Brown v. Board of Education
Charles Scott, Jr. (lawyer), lawyer Brown v. Board of Education
Charles Prestwich Scott, British journalist, publisher and politician

my thoughts.
Teddy is on Chuai. He writes the note, but is unable to send it out, so he sends it as a "memo" if you will, to Mr. Scott, who is also in TIDO and proceeds to send it out.

Of which i'm sure are none... I don't think Paramount would use an actual figure who existed in popular history to rattle on a fictional company for a fictional movie...

And it still doesn't explain the KagashimaD email address, which is also the contact listing on both the Slusho and Tagruato websites.
Their feedback receiver can't honestly be the Whistleblower...

Does it seem strange to anyone else that that file is 2+ megs. I scan PDF all the time at work like this and usually I can scan 10-15 pages and it will only be 2-3 megs. Maybe its nothing...

He simply grabbed an email on the tagruato server and sent it out. He may have been pressed for time.
He saw the question about the parafFun recall and decided to send it out as a reply; just to ensure it got out there.

The only reason Paramount sent it to Dennis is because he is the most popular and effetive distributer of Cloverfield news.
