assuming this is somewhat correct
I know this has been touched on by a couple people in this thread, but for the most part it's been overlooked.

Assuming the "fake band" translation is correct (or at least close to correct) it seems like he would be trying to tell us that The Glass Helmet's aren't real. Consequently, the "event" is not actually a Rally Show, but something else. I know everyone probably already suspects that what TIDOwave so discreetly refers to as the "event" is something far bigger than just a show, but maybe the Paramount team hasn't seen any evidence of us actually knowing that and are just trying to reiterate that fact. Or they want us to dig further into The Glass Helmets because they aren't what they seem.

This is all assuming that the "fake band" translation is correct, of course... so far to me, this seems the most plausible (despite the slight differences in spelling and whatnot). Either way, I'd like to see this discussed a little more by people who are much better at this stuff than I am.

I honestly think they found mgp or something strange with their satellite and decided to un-earth it.

Well....let's think Transformers (and we have reason to link a hint with that movie, since it started this entire thing).

What do they do with Megatron? Drop him in the ocean.

It's possible that this..animal/alien/whatever is frozen/buried in the ocean floor and Chuai station is tasked with excavating it. This could also help explain the whole "keep the DSI cold" thing. The DSI is part of the monster's flesh or something...or if it's old enough, it could be a form of "oil", since oil is created by the decomposition of biological matter. And then maybe the monster is either A. Reawokened (it was never really dead) or B. Reanimated (Tagruato both found AND made something, because they bring it back to life) or C. This monster they've found is not alone, and another of it's species is attracted to the smell created by the excavation, gets pissed, and heads off to New York to wreak some havoc.

Works with testing the extremophiles theory. I'd assume it'd be pretty hard to harvest extremophiles, especially those in deep sea volcanic vents, like those in the Mid-Atlantic Ridge...

OH WAIT, Chuai is RIGHT ON the Mid-Atlantic Ridge! Anyone see the connection here...?

DSI... Sea-bed Nectar... extremophiles... rocket launch into space...?

 		I'm pretty sure the only link between Transformers is that Paramount saw that the type of audience who would be intrigued by this type of trailer. Also they knew that Transformers was going to do huge business so they wanted to get the word out.

I honestly think they are doing experiments on a hibernating Grumpypants because well I mean if you found something like that wouldn't you want to know how it works. They want to keep it a secret because they want to see what secrets it holds and market them for their benefit.

Then again maybe they are just using Chuia as a dumping site for waste which I'm sure would be a good reason for TIDO wave to be angry

 		Well on the translation, it says that the amount harvested increased at least around a hundred (barrels) from Oct. to Sept. I don't know how a normal drilling rig works or if this is normal. Does anyone know if this is possibly significant?

 		Rigs normally consist of more than one well... a single well can produce several hundred barrels a day.

I'm not exactly sure a one month increase is that significant, but it could definitely be something.

EDIT: I just realized that I could've translated the memo, since the majority of the symbols are identical to Chinese.
