Email Notification of New Posts?

There is a mod for this board that adds the ability to sign up to a forum and receive any posts made to that forum by email, in their entirety, including poster's name and full post body. Does this sound like something you would like to see added?

Sweet baby Jesus NO!!!!! The last thing I want to read is 45912 new posts a day by poor suckers who register here and are getting deluged w/email posts and can't figure out how to turn them off. If I wanted to hang out at Yahoo!, I would have gone back there. Very Happy

BTW, thanks for hosting the spiffy new joint, Bass-man!

Digests would make for a nice feature. Allow me to streamline the search process.

To clarify: this mod I was looking at doesn't unfortunately add digest ability, however it does require you to manually sign up for any individual forum that you would like the posts to be emailed to you from. So you could subscribe to email notification for just, say, Push, NV - Updates and not any of the others.
