Oh, they do still drive the same marketing wave with Cloverfield... Summer 2007 was truly addicting for A&O project team, hehe...

A question: has somebody after that Countdown to 1st August played the A&O game?

I followed it until the 2nd when Ethan Haas Was Right and Ethan Haas Was Wrong, etc, all linked to the new Alpha Omega site. Divinus was just used to get a discount on stuff bought in the store. It was the worst ARG ever, even worse than Halo 3's IRIS campaign.

Nobody *can* play the game because it hasn't been released yet. Nobody has the manual yet, not even in PDF form.

They built up the excitement for August 1st, then said "nah, we need to work on it a little more," then sat on it for an additional four months.

I've given up on them as well. I was one of their better advocates I think, but they dropped the ball so many times I couldn't care less if they sink or swim at this point.
