I agree, rob is way too emo for that. He's more of a "write you a poem and cut myself in japan while you reject me for someone with some balls."
Maybe in the end it pans out and this is just rob's imagination of what he wishes would happen to beth after she rejects him. What an awful letdown that would be.

I read this into the post myself. Almost like Lil is his secret crush that his brother won over and now maybe someone else has made a play at Beth before he did and his solution is flight rather than fight...

I was just about to make a new thread for this little nugget, but I don't exactly want to be trouted on one of my few posts around here. I'm Ron, full-time lurker and irregular poster on these boards. I've been following the movie since the midnight showing of Transformers with the teaser.

I have absolutely no idea how it happened, but somehow my comment to Rob's blog got approved. I'm Ron[1-18-08]. I just got done grabbing screencaps of my post being ON there because I'm wondering how long it will be there. Ha! My name's on CloverfieldClues. That's so cool. The best Christmas present I could've asked for. I've gotten like a dozen Myspace Friend Requests since it got posted on there. I'm Myspace-famous or something...I guess now I should get an Agent, huh?

Anyway. I don't know what to do or say other than get screenshots. This is the coolest thing that's happened to me in a while.

Actually, I read Lil and Lena seeing whats going on, and Beth being sympathetic, but clueless that she's the cause of Rob's emo-attack.

Lil lives in the same apartment as Rob, and is probably quite aware of how he feels, Lena is likely just not blind, and sarcastic enough (especially about relationships) to both see it, and have little sympathy.

You know, I thought he was some kind of bad-ass in marketing, a guy that is totally focused and was chosen among the best to promote Slusho!. Not some 25 year old whining about getting around overlooked.

Maybe that means something about Tagruato not hiring a "dream team" as they claim, or at least in the marketing area? Because Rob's like okay I'm gonna find a job now and quit posting "The Get Up Kids" stuff, and BAM! he lands one in Japan... how cool is that?

 		Imho, the Rob's blog and reaction of his friends shows:

    =>Rob weren't going to Japan rescuing somebody
    =>Rob hasn't winned the Slusho!-award or something like that
    =>Rob hasn't clue what he is going to do at the moment, he's in the search mode


I suppose, he and his friends don't use the secret symbolic language communicating about some rescue plans. Remember what Stahl-David told about Rob:

So I suppose more and more, Slusho!-story has now parallel line to Rob, and perhaps it would collide with Rob's line in some days, but not now. OK, his brother drinks Slusho!, perhaps it's the key?..

But I think Rob at the moment doesn't know anything about Tagruato conspiracy or stuff.
