Everything is crucial in an investigation like this.

Think about the timing. They need to have first hand experiences with what happens just as MGP is entering the city, or just as the rumbling begins to describe the effects it had, or how and when things may have happened. Every moment is crucial.

Nah...some of the chicks in that party video are hot. I'd watch it a few times if it was my job to watch video cameras taken from the guts of giant monsters.

Or they want to see the entire footage of the video because they need to know exactly what these people witnessed so that they can perform an adequate COVERUP. Wink

The movie isn't the government watching the tape, the movie is just the tape. The government found the tape, and we're watching the tape, in it's entirety.

That's been said in an interview so i'm not just making it up.
