 		[OT][TROUT] How lost we truly were
Should we 'un-debunk' it?
It was all so confusing and new to us... but it's all starting to make sense now.

this is a body cast for the movie.

I seem to remember that photo was debunked... that it was for some other movie...?

I heard that too, and no one ever told me what film it was for so I assumed that it was wrongly debunked due to its significance in the scene where the woman [I assume Marlena] expands [perhaps explodes].

well, this picture was found back in July, but was debunked as belonging to another film, what I'm getting at is that the mold on the woman could be for the scene where Marlena starts expanding.

 		Seems to me there was an associated image of the body cast and a piece made from it, with an object protruding from it - just like we see in the publicity shots of Beth.

 		Thats exactly what i was thinking. If thats from Cloverfield, and thats a big if, then it would most likely be for Beth, for the scene where shes impaled

 		Oh yeah! I do remember seeing the cast with the rod sticking out of it. Someone had posted it along with this pic and then the picture came out with the Beth movie shot like Euchre stated. I never know it was debuked?

 		Yea it was supposedly debunked months back. someone claimed it was from the collection of some fx guy. But he wasnt working on Cloverfield. There was some pics of stuff from his collection, and something similar to that was there. so everyone assumed it was from him

It was originally theorized that the person being literally cast was the actress playing Jamie - but it's fairly easy now that we've seen so much of her to know that's not her. It was apparently made for Beth's character, based upon what we have later seen in the publicity shots and based on the fact that these pics were posted on the Frightstuff forum by Ken Tarallo. They were found and reposted on projectcloverfield.com, where Ken requested their removal. They can still be found on cloverfield-movie.com here:
