(Obligatory female gushing): What great pictures! Your daughter is so cute and her dress was so nice. And that cake! You looked great, too (good looking family there!) - in fact, you were positively BEAMING! What a wonderful day - looks like you all had a blasty blast! Congrats again, papi!

Edit: Time for bed....goodnight (hope nothing breaks overnight...)

Edit x2: Anteros - just friend requested you...okay, going to bed now...

Okay, I'll play.

My name is Kat and I'm 21, Virginia Hampton Roads area. I go to college and wait tables part time while trying to write the Great American novel- or a mediocre, publishable American Short Story.

'm a ginormous geek, though I'm mostly into anime. I play a lot of video games and worked at EB just for the discount. This is my first ARG-type thing, and I'm having a ball. I expect Cloverfield to undo all of the helpless rage I've suffered from the American Godzilla movie.

Congrats about the wedding Smile

lol! Yes, that page took me two days to build, 'cause I had to carefully save the original code. I put it up as a shrine after they won. Time to start thinking about a Patriots shrine!

dontlookmyage ... thank you! And welcome to my friends list. Very Happy

I was afraid of posting my age, but if Anteros can, so can I:

I'm 48, born and raised in New Jersey - but I'm a Packers Fan. (anyone who's fans wear cheese on their heads are okay with me.) I love games and my favoriate are the Tomb Raider series. Love Horror and Sci Fi. Alien to me is the perfect Sci Fi movie.

Have tons of books, am always in B&N. Was a punk when I was younger (much younger!) and now my daughter has the Clash and the Sex Pistols on her iPod. I also have a son. An an ex.

Used to work, don't anymore. My (2nd) husband is a Vietnam Vet and has a host of strange medical issues that rear their ugly heads every few years; so I stay home to make sure he doesn't have to do anything in the house when he comes home. (he's the type that will work with a 103 fever and I don't want him spending another season in the hospital.)

I'm an outstanding cook, been told I should do catering; but my nature would have the people wearing the food instead of eating it. I'm too old to put up with that bullshit.

Lurked here after the trailer from Transformers and been here ever since. Pleasure to meet you all.

Welcome Kat and Her.

And all of you. See, I knew most of us were just normal people with a touch of nerd inside (some of us more than others!), and not a bunch of useless 20 year olds in the basement of Mom and Dad's eating cheetos!

Ssssh. Go to bed, trooper. Santa won't drop us any new leads if he knows were up.

Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, joyous Yule, Happy Hanukkah, and to all of our non-denominational friends, blessed be.

Hope we all get something good, no matter what it may be.

You guys are old. How did you coup with the dinosaurs?

Anyways, I'm Jake, 15, love Diet Coke and England, hate World of Warcraft and High School Musical.

And that's pretty much it.

Hi Rekdal. One of my best friends is from Denmark. Jutland Peninsula (hope I spelled it right). Great to see another woman my age here!

And Oil Mango: Keep cracking age jokes and no Cloverfield promo postcards for you. I'll keep any I find to myself. (evil laughter). JK

Hi, I`m Vlad, I`m webmaster of one German University. In my free from work and Cloverfield time (if I have any, hehe), I write my dissertation about literary avant-garde (dadaism, surrealism etc.), write a novel, write my German and Russian blogs, film with my handycam weird stuff and read "House of Leaves" (OK, I wanted to finish the book for months, but Cloverfield has everytime the priority for me)... Uff... Shocked

Erg ..

Long-time lurker, first-time poster. You guys intimidate me most of the time, so I never made an account and just read faithfully. Only recently I felt compelled to come into the light. Har.

Anyway --

'm Sarah (Sah). 21 years old, an English major, suffering from book addiction (self-professed bibliophile) and have a newly found passion in knitting (refer to: being poor but still wanting to give my friends thought-involved gifts -- scarves!).

I got into Cloverfield like a madwoman as soon as I saw it before Transformers (am involved in the two major communities on livejournal.com). Anyway, the teaser was almost better than the movie itself. I probably ended up watching it more than thirty times in the course of three days. (My geekness knows no bounds when I'm enthralled).

I play WoW, I collect apple-print shirts (shirts with apples on them), Harry Potter memorabilia/clothing, skeleton keys, cherry blossom related items, and watch more anime/TV shows in marathon fashion than would be deemed healthy. I also would rather watch people play videogames than play them (Halo, Zelda, etc). I only religiously commit myself to playing and mastering the Final Fantasy titles.

I've considered starting my own ARG, but I don't think I have the time or the resources. Still waiting for my first e-mail trailhead, but 'm sure it'll happen eventually. WALL-E is currently interesting me the most. The Dark Knight would be second (although there's not much left for me to 'solve').

I spend more time on this forum than I should .. while at work. Heh.

/end introduction
