[OOG][INFO]Dutch Release date changed

I just checked the release list for Cloverfield on Pathé.NL (major cinema chain here) again, and it's been moved from February 28th to January 24th. Very Happy

Quote:
CloverfieldJ.J. Abrams, de man achter de series Alias en Lost, doet de geruchtenmachine op hol slaan met zijn nieuwste filmproject
REGIE Matt Reeves
CAST Mike Vogel, T.J. Miller, Jessica Lucas, Lizzy Caplan, Odet Jasmin
GENRE Science Fiction
Verwacht Donderdag 24 01 2008

But while this is pretty insignificant to the board (I doubt there are any other Dutch members on this board). it COULD mean that the release date for the UK has been changed as well. So any UKers on this board might want to check that. Smile [/url]

More [INFO] and sadly, a sort of a [TROUT]

Just to add to the corrboration of the release date:
http://www.universalpictures.nl/cloverfield.html
There is already a thread about release dates though:
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=21739
Which actually makes this thread sort of a [TROUT]

Sorry, but that just makes an asinine stretching of the forum. At least resize it to actually fit inside the normal thread width.

Another funny thing about the Dutch site is that it has the 5 minute video in much better detail, and as I'm working on - far easier to capture.
Twisted Evil

Edit: Thank you for fixing the image breakout problem.

Shocked

When you said 'much better detail' I was expecting something like the same video size but clearer or twice the size or something.

But that, that's the same quality as the HD trailers! (though only at the smallest resolution (which is still pretty good))

Much better sound quality as well!

But why is it still in English?

The Dutch are right across the Channel from England, and many of them do speak English. Of the mainland of Europe, Dutch is largely considered the closest language to English.

Edit: It's only 640x368 29.97 fps, with 128 kbps MP3 audio. That's not even 480p, but it's better than the resolution you can gather from the widget.

Could this be taken as official confirmation that Blake Lively is in the film?

Or does the synopsis writer know only as much as we do?
