Euchre, I see your posts everywhere I go on this forum, and though I don't post a lot I read a lot and I must say it seems like you try a little bit too hard to sound intelligent on this forum and act like you're the almighty one here.
Granted, I do agree with you 95% of the time, but even those who are perfect can overdo it, and quite frankly you're extremely annoying and reading your posts usually makes me roll my eyes.

If you look carefully, you'll notice I didn't say 'bad you', but in fact said that nooneimportant77's self-labeling of 'stealing' may have been the wrong way to put it. My concern is that people not do something unethical in the name of 'fan fun'. I don't care if you don't like me trying to stand up for doing what's ethical - if more people would, there'd be less problems in this world.
Oh, and I DID speak out against the trashing of the Photobucket accounts and people tinkering within the MySpace account.
I'm not trying to 'play police', seeing as I'm not saying I'm going to turn anyone in or punish them. I am pleading that people not go be total idiots and jerks and screw things up for others.
ok officer..... Noone is my friend and im only defending him because your being the LAW....anyways he only took a few so if you wanna call me a jerk so be it but i'm not the one who's being an ASS .....so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....

In all fairness, I was being sarcastic about the photobucket accounts, and just wanted to point out the 'laws' that are being broken on this forum :-p.

They need to come out with a new commercial and/or trailer before we all start turning on each other.

Cool flyers, but you are taking the food straight from the mouth of J.J. Abrams. Abrams wants to enjoy his food, don't steal his pieces of paper.
EDIT: The above comment was laced with (hopefully) obvious sarcasm. Since I am not a good person, I would have taken those and more had I been given the opportunity. And possibly burned them in a ritual ceremony just to spite Paramount Pictures. That is all.

For the record... ...I did not steal any of the posters that I photographed. I figured I would let the promo campaign do it's thing, and sabotaging those efforts did not seem to be the right thing to do.
Although, in the big scheme of things, I am pretty certain that if I had torn down one of those hastily stapled up sheets of light-weight cardboard, the impact upon the marketing of this film would have been close to -nil-.
Just my 2 cents.

I wonder why they stick to the Decapitated SOL image. It is now standard to have a variety of promo posters. Even for the TV series Sarah O'Connor Chronicles they have a dozen.

It is a pretty shocking image, one that tends to stand out and is easily associated with the film, just my thought.

Let your conscious be your guide. look i'm not gonna defend myself, I could care less about people thinking that i'm "verbally bashing" someone. Honestly, if you're getting offended by my opinion, then perhaps it's your conscious telling you to put one back or something. But either way, my pointless opinion is that I didn't care that you took one, or maybe two... but don't get grab happy and greedy with this crap.

I'll echo what Rose often posts in these threads.
unFiction is about being a community that enjoys puzzle solving and playing in an Alternate Reality to piece together stories and mysteries. Let me say this again, we are a COMMUNITY. We hope our members (and visitors) play nice with eachother (take that any way you want). Some great friendships (and a couple of weddings) have been ignited in these hallowed brown pages.
If you are angry with a post, if you are insensed by perception of stupidity, write it down on your favorite notepad/word/document first. Read it and imagine yourself getting a post like that directed at you. Then hit the damn delete key instead of posting it in here. You are all frustrated with the lack of new material - yes, everyone is grasping for straws - blame the marketing company, not eachother.
What else can we do? Have a glass of eggnog and throw another log on the fire. It's going to be a long holiday week and then we're in the final countdown to the movie. Enjoy the rush.

A few things.
1) Those posters are pretty cool lookin, interesting method of advertising. *not like this whole movie has been very 'standard' in marketing *
2) Well said Kona.
3) Am I one of the few people in this thread who agrees with Euchre?

No, I quite often agree with Euchre although I think, whether he is or not (I vote is), he comes across as pompous and arrogant.

I agree with Euchre slightly, but he's just so annoying and I get tired of reading his cocky posts.
