a tiny update on hana's blog:
Quote:
The Shanti virus is capable of more harm than I ever imagined. Maybe that's why The Company has been keeping it quiet for so long. Linderman's files are loaded with secrets. Hopefully, with Drucker's help, more will continue to surface.

HG

But I can't see that anything new has come up. Nothing from drucker (or Trav) anywhere, that I can see.

There's new interview stuff up on the Activating Evolution site. About epidemics and pandemics etc. But I hope that's not all we're getting this week.

Dr. Suresh claims to be making new advancements in his studies on the Shanti virus, but his recent devotion to The Company makes his previous altruistic intentions somewhat questionable. I can only hope he is still doing the right thing. He has posted more expert videos on his website: activatingevolution.org. I believe the videos are supposed to help us in the understanding of the virus and its potential outbreak. You be the judge.

Hana actually meant to have wrote:
Drucker? Drucker who? I never said anything about anyone named Drucker. Have some random videos about disease control, they're pretty interesting, if you're into that sort of thing.

what gives? Trav seems pretty cool, and I was really liking where that trail was going. On the show...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I was really hoping Drucker would be the mysterious guy in the shadows, but no.
Did the Drucker story implode completely or what?

Sounds like the writer's strike may have put a damper on planned story line??? Or perhaps this character will play a role only in the Online adventure story they are promising with the "create a hero" activity they promote in a commercial during the episode.

Hey cool! More on Drucker...

Hana wrote:
It appears that Drucker's been all over the map... literally. Global News Interactive's investigative report tells a history of the man we have been searching for. It's no wonder he has chosen to keep so much of his past a secret. When he was born, he came face-to-face with man's worst form of communication - war. I wonder what that kind of beginning does to a person. Decide for yourself after watching the story at www.9thwonders.com.

Except I'm, uh, not sure it's up yet? Presently there is a very nice video (with Tim Kring and Masi Oka) regarding the fFantastic OLPC initiative. While that's very cool and all (seriously excellent -- I'm considering an OLPC fFor my own use, having no kids to get one fFor) .... But nothing about Drucker or anyone. So I guess check back a bit later.

Hmm, Hana may be getting her wires crossed. Tho she posted a link to 9th wonders, I went looking around and the video is actually on her blog.

I guess I'm not the only one that's interested in Drucker and his whereabouts. Global News Interactive has an investigative report on Drucker here. The GNI exclusive helps shed light on Drucker's beginnings by showing us a glimpse of the world that he was born into.

Link to a video stream of the GNI newscast:

and .. ding!ding!ding! A picture of Drucker! I might have time later to dissect this a bit (grab some screen shots, transcribe the dialogue). But I certainly won't stop anyone fFrom doing it fFirst. Smile

I think she messed up and here is her cover story in my email:

I've been looking through the 9th Wonders website and saw that they pulled the Drucker news video. I think someone may have done it for them; therefore, I am keeping a sharp eye out to make sure it remains on my blog without interference. Go to www.samantha48616e61.com to watch it now

new stuff. Learning lots about Drucker, now. Like fFor example he worked with ..... wait, he worked with ... him?? that seems random. Then again, perhaps not so random. They both seem to have vaguely similar outlooks on life, afterall.

Hana asks if anyone knows anything about Samkhya. I don't but, wikipedia does.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samkhya

Oh, I think I stated, previously, "We have a picture of Drucker." No, that was a picture of the world's fForemost authority on Drucker, apparently. Still no idea what Drucker the man looks like.

Global News Interactive has posted another video about Drucker and this one has really thrown me for a loop. Charlie Svenson, Drucker historian, clues us in to Drucker's life in America and his ties to Charles Deveaux. What does Samkhya philosophy have to do with Drucker? Check it out: www.samantha48616e61.com.

On her blog is the following:

Quote:
I have located Part two of Global News Interactive's piece on Drucker and posted it here. Young tech tycoon and Drucker historian Charlie Svenson digs into Drucker's early interest in politics and the forward thinking that made him the man he is today. And yet why would someone so bold not return the message I sent? I don't have an answer. Something seems off to me. I ask you all to hold tight - I sense that more is still to come.

HG

The link is to 3 video clips, information about Drucker, much like any historical documentary.
[as an aside - the 'Indian' reporter reminds me a lot of an old uF member, Diandra, in dark makeup]

Quote:
This new video leads me to think that the mystery of Drucker goes even deeper than I first imagined. Does anyone know anything about Samkhya philosophy? I believe it has something to do with nature and consciousness, but I don't know much more. I am looking for help finding details and a link to why Drucker would be interested in Samkhya. All theories welcome.

HG

Can anyone directly link the videos? Or dl copies for archival purposes?

And there are three more news clips on the link.

New Update

Hey guys, new update from Druker posted on the 9th Wonders boards:

Quote:

The playwright William Congreve said that "music has charms to soothe a savage breast. To soften rocks or bend a knotted oak." I myself was once tamed a long time ago. My favorite things are still in this past even as I'm being drawn to the present.

Show me you understand the things I hold dear...

iv7, V7(#5), i7, vii7 III7, VI7, III7(#5), i7, VII7, iv7, i7

iv7,V7(#5), i7, vii7 III7, VI7, V7(#5), i7, II7, v7, i7

Happy huntings! Razz

Checked the quote out, cause the use of "Breast" seemed a little odd, but it turns out it's correct

"The word "breast" is not an error but appears in the original play. One of the meanings of "breast" is "the front part of the trunk from the neck to the abdomen," and this meaning was far more common in Congreve's time than anything specific to the female anatomy. [note by Michael Moncur, August 25, 2004] "

The quote is from "The Mourning Bride, Act 1 Scene 1"

Also, I'm pretty sure those numbers/letters he gave are guitar cords.

Roman Numerals

The Roman Numeral method of naming chords is a very logical and easy system to understand.
The chord is simply named after the degree of the scale from which it is formed. In a major scale
this always gives a fixed pattern of chords:
I is major, II is minor, III is minor, IV is major, V is major, VI is minor and VII is a diminished
triad (triad = a chord with three notes).

SO, it is a method of "chords"

Quote:

Any of these chords can have additions, for instance seventh chords of differing types
are formed by adding the number 7 after the Roman Numeral. In jazz notation a "7"
always means a minor seventh above the root (root = the note which names the chord),
but in Roman, it can mean any kind of 7th. this being determined by the layout of the scale.
Thus the following diagram shows both jazz and Roman descriptions of the 7th chords.
I7 is a major seventh chord as is IV7, II7 is a minor seventh chord as is III7 and VI7,
V7 is a Dominant 7th. chord and VII7 is called a half diminished or minor 7th.
flattened 5th Cool

In the final installment of Global News Interactive's piece on Richard Drucker, Microprocessor magnet Zhang Yang speaks out about the time he spent with Drucker in India in the 1980's. Yang is right - Drucker is an enigma. I'm afraid he may have gone into hiding in order to stay out of The Company. I hope he is safe.
See the final installment on my blog @ www.samantha48616e61.com.

There is nothing new there (yet).

I am not sure that anything posted on 9th Wonders is *IG* since she never used that location before.

On her blog, the link to ABOUT ME goes to her MySpace page, which hasn't been accessed by her since May 2007 (when she blew up in space).

'Noise'
Message in audio file on Hana's site

Just listened to the 'noise' Hana captured on the Corinthian site. If you adjust your sound to the left speaker only and listen closely, Drucker(?) says...

Quote:
You're making me angry, Hana
And I've spent a lifetime containing my anger
You don't know what could happen when emotion takes the place of sanity

I haven't been following to closely this past month, so I'm not sure what deeper meaning this warning might have, but hopefully this will save some of your eardrums.
