[TROUT] Removed or Replaced Words in Mayday Text

From the wiki Mayday Text:

Quote:
[The initial letter A from the word "and" is missing from Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift]
[The initial letter I is missing from the text, also a quote from Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift]

This suggests that oddities in text are being used as clues. AI is certainly meaningful.

Here are a couple of interesting data:

Quote:
[word flea substituted for the word man from Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe]
[word her substituted for the word his from The Tempest by William Shakespeare]

These seem to point to something but I am not sure what. Perhaps pieces are missing.

Quote:
Arachne hung herself, you know. Take a hint already.

Pointing to clues, especially towards a spider.

Quote:
seek evade reveal resist.

Incorrect words: seek, reveal.

Quote:
survive evade reveal escape

Incorrect word: reveal.

This seems to mesh well with a later snippet:

Quote:
Seek the truth
Behold the truth
Reveal the truth

The Operator seems to be terribly concerned with information gathering, doesn't she? Even when she's delirious, trying to think about survival, seeking and revealing seem to keep popping back in her mind...

Please continue discussing the Mayday text here in this thread, entitled "The Mayday Text"

Thank you for searching.
