TRANSCRIPT

Jamie is the only person who speaks in the entire video. No voice is heard on phone.

"Hey prick."

"So guess what? I'm gonna play your little game and.... I'm gonna call "Tagagato", because it just so happens that my friend's boyfriend found the number for me. "

-Picks up phone-

-Starts to dial-

"So we're gonna call, and we're gonna see who really stole you."

-Dialing-

"It's about a million numbers, probably costs me a fortune, but guess what, you're worth it aren't you?" [sarcasm]

-Continues to dial-

-Phone ringing-

-Jamie sighs-

"Hi, can I speak to Teddy Hanssen?"

-Pause, person on other line talking, but can not be heard.-

"Can I speak to someone that speaks...American."

-Pause, same as above.-

"Oh, ok, you speak both. I'm looking for Teddy Hanssen.

-Pause, same as above.-

"Ok, thanks, I'll hold"

-Pause. Jamie mouths "I hate you" to camera.-

"Hi, I'm looking for Teddy Hanssen."

-Pause-

"This is Jamie Lascano."

-Pause-

"I'm calling from America."

-Pause, Jamie laughs-

"I'm not telling you my address."

-Jamie hangs up. Puts phone on bed-

"Surprise, surprise! They've never heard of you!"

-Jamie throws up her hands-

"You know what, I'm so sick of your games. This is the last video you're getting from me. I'm officially done."

-Phone rings. Jamie picks it up and looks at caller ID-

"Unknown number..."

-Jamie answers it-

"Hello?"

-Pause. Again no voice from phone heard.-

"I don't speak....whatever."

-Jamie hangs up-

"Great. Thanks Teddy. Now they're calling me. Prick."

-Jamie shuts off camera-

Edited, fixed some of my texting errors. Razz

Please tell me you didn't call any of the numbers that headman posted.

Those are guesses, we HAVE a number for Tagruato.

Whoah, slow down Skippy! Don't get your panties in a bunch. Just trying to decipher the numbers and did not intend to mislead anyone into any unnecessary long distance calls. I shall edit my posts. My apologies if I did so!

Next time, check that we don't already have a number before doing stuff like that, I was more bothered about someone being woken up at stupid-o-clock in the morning than the person making the long distance call.

Also, don't call me Skippy and don't say crap like "Don't get your panties in a bunch."

To me it almost seems like they just put this out there because we all thought there would be a sixth video. While it's possible that this will advance the plot of the ARG, it doesn't really seem like it. Jamie feels the same way she did at the end of video #5.
It seems highly unlikely to me that whatever random employee picked up the phone would know who Teddy is, and realize the consequences of someone looking for him. I highly doubt that the Chuai/Tagruato security executives would send out an e-mail blast about something like that.
What makes it really interesting is that they call her back. Most huge corporations wouldn't do that. By calling her back, it certainly makes it seem like they took some form of interest in her call. Of course it may be as a simple as someone telling her (in Japanese) that they were calling the police for prank calling them, although that seems like a bit of a stretch.
IF, somehow, they did recognize the Teddy link, they know now her full name, that she's in America, and her phone number (although this also tells them she's in America Wink ). They could easily obtain much more specific information about her, and trace her to New York and possibly find her website. I highly doubt they send MGP to NYC just because of her little pouch of "evidence". Especially considering that if they know she has the evidence (by watching her videos), they'd also know that she doesn't believe Teddy and likely didn't give it any consideration.
So, to sum it all up, if this video has any consequence, I don't think it's very clean cut. Perhaps if we alert Tagruato and see if they react similarly to how they did for Jamie Lasciano.

Ah, I just thought of something. Usually when people call the number for Tagruato they get a recorded message. But she got an actual person, How?

this is great. i told myself i wouldnt check unfiction today cause i probably wouldn't miss anything. i should do this more often....lol

ok so wow, it's a simple video but alot seems to be going on here.

1. Someone got jamie the number to tagruato. possibly hawk...possibly someone else. we can't be sure at this point. for all we know she was talking about Rob in her own little dumb blonde way. i have friends who arent going out but we refer to them as together for simplicity purposes.

anyway, whoever got the number opened up a whole new can of worms by exposing tagruato to them. Now the slusho 7 are bound to find out all about this place and Rob might even be exposed to them through the mess that could ensue.

2. Jamie is passed on to someone else. possibly a superior....

why?

if i had to vote, everyone knew full well who Teddy Hanssen is and was instructed not to speak of him. The secretary was probably caught off guard and simply passed the phone to a superior. This person would be very interested in why someone would be calling a Japanese company from America just to ask for teddy.

3. the callback

They have Jamie's name and her number. All you need is a phone book and some time and you have an address. Hell you don't even need a phonebook. the internet works just as well. So basically tagruato knows someone is searching for teddy and where they live. It's only a matter of timje before they realize the "evidence" is missing and they put two and two together

EDIT: you beat me to the callback possibilities mystlyfe! darn you...lol

The plot needed it.

I know, I'm not stupid.

I wanted the transcript on this page for people who just skip to the latest page in a thread.

Given that they had 'call-back', Tagruato now knows her general location (NYC).
Looks like they send in MGP to get rid of the 'evidence'.
Very Happy

Do we really know if she called the main business number for Tagruato or maybe she called Chuai station? Or some other number.

Laughing I guess I struck a nerve. I humbly apologize to you Sir. Just try not to get so worked up and lighten up a bit, life is too short.

Just so you know, I am completely aware that we have a number for Tagruato. I was only trying to see if it was a different number than the one we currently have. It is completely plausible do you not agree? Please do not make assumptions and forgive me for trying to contribute.
