I just thought of something, and if this has been mentioned before feel free to throw all the trout at me that you want. I was just reading the Frank Miller graphic novel "Dark Knight Returns" In it there are a group of former gang members that start to worship and emulate Batman. As we know there are always fringe groups that take to worshipping anything that seems god - like . What if there are a group doing just that after MGP's arrival. Grabbing people for sacrifices and all. I know this seems quite a stretch in the short time frame, but if there arent small monsters, which i really do think there are, than this could explain what Rob and Lil are hiding from in that room. Or, it could just be all the alchohol ive consumed over the last few days. Feel free to tear this apart at will

This would be so very plausible if there was more time contained in the movie, just dont know how a group could get that organized in that short time, unless they knew he was coming beforehand and were prepared, but im with you, that would be much more terrifying in my book. Running from MGP outside and hiding from his cult followers inside.

On a side note, No offense Cthulu, not to rip off anything from you. Wasnt my intention. After i posted it , i realized that sounds alot like your peeps. Really did get the idea from Dark Knight Returns

It either refers to minions, or it's an attempt to make us think there are minions. If they were talking about something like I dunno.. those jets that bomb it (when they are standing on the roof.. "they came out of nowhere!"), why would this be a major line to post? It wouldn't unless they were purposely trying to make us think there are mulitple critters.. or there are multiple critters.

I don't think it's debris or barrels, that doesn't make a lot of sense. Flaming barrels and debris do not come out of nowhere, they are obviously falling from above, and most people would know this, and not make such a silly comment. Razz

I say it's either the jets they are talking about while on the roof, or MMGPM (mini mr. grumpy pants minions).
