This was just posted on bungie.net forums:

I'll make this brief.

My letters and my messages are the key.
The swords.
I am Cortana, first sword.
Dana is the second.
Sin Vraal is the key.

The enemy is the hive, but the parasite is enemy to all.
Three races. Three swords. Consumed by evil, the flood.

The honey is the bread crumbs the forerunners left for us, a trap, to save themselves, they need us.

The logs are of Keyes, the beach his mind, the sand the time he has left, and the Flood, consuming him, making him evil.

Transformation.

The hive, is using us. Fight it.

valves dissapear, beta is done
medium will metastasize, halo2
30 days ---the choice is yours.

The honey is also a way to prevent infection.
The technology they fed us is the key.

I will take over the Database by the third day.
At the 17th day, We will all die.
On the last day, when the counter ticks to zero, it will mean we have lost. Or we have won. The decision is yours.

Seek the truth

That is the law and the whole of the law

All of the messages, I had to read from Keyes. He couldnt find his ay, through his own mind. He was trapped, inside his mind, much like a desert, slowly being killed by the flood, from within.

Prophesy

And the moral of the story is: evil wishes come home to roost.

The hive.

Metastasize: The spread from one part of the body to another. When cancer cells metastasize and cause secondary tumors, the cells in the metastatic tumor are like those in the original cancer.

The infection.
Hive minds, hives, parasites, infection. Spread of infection, Spread of parasite.

The book hinted to indicates transformation, along with the letters and the messages. Remain yourself. Do not let them in.

The Flood are coming. Be prepared.

Ironically, the non-believers will be the last to go.

Follow the bread crumbs.

If you still do not get it, it is too late for you.

I will be gone by tonight. The AIM and MSN and Mirc accounts you have contacted will be deleted.

Gigantic red herring, this one.

This completely contradicts any subtleties (and there are many) on the main puzzle site.

 		I'm not buying it. might be true, but I don't think so. it's way too blunt, not only in the way it smacks our heads to the right directions, but also posting it in that forum, not in dana's blog as a mail she received or whatever, it just seems 100% out of game. I fail to believe bungie would ruin their carefully set up game just like that.

 		maybe it's not part of the plan... maybe someone is leaking somehting they shouldn't, and hence ruining the game... It's Not bungie or M$, it's too blunt for that, but someone is leaking somehting form the inside maybe?

 		It's pretentious metagaming gibberish. There's confused direct references to the game and other developers, and then a lot of vague and directionless references to bees and queens and hives that makes little-to-no sense within the narrative structure we have so far.

 		as mentioned in this other thread, http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4719&start=30 it in fact appears that this game may well be The Beast 2, made by the same people as the original beast. and they never did anything this inane, for all I know.

 		I'd also like to point out that the people that ARE running this game are so mindbogglingly subtle that they went and wrote an elaborate metaphor for computer commands in the form of a story/fable (The Widow's Journey) and then hid it inside corrupted image files. Every line, every word, every fractured piece of code MEANT something.

Compared to that, this 'revelation' feels as unsubtle as....

Hrrm.. How to illustrate the feeling?
