actually, I was wrong. It's possible that the monster transmits eggs through biting, then the eggs hatch inside a human host - Alien-style.
Or he lays eggs in madison square garden because he produces asexually. Wink

Lets not even bring that movie into this debate. It was absolutely terrible. The only way that movie could hve redeemed itself in my mind is if Matthew Broderick would have started doing the twist on a parade float. And probably not even then.

There are worse things in the world than Alien. I like AVP.

(1) not asexual, quite female

(2) not weak. quite strong.

(3) hope I never have a missle pointed at me or do anything to have one pointed in my direction.

(4) no babies, not for years.

Bits and pieces of different body parts of Godzilla were shown on TV commercials and posters, but never the entire body; this was to add a bit of mystery as to the design of the creature, ideally prompting people to see the film because that was the only way to see the whole creature. The same type of marketing campaign used in the 2005 remake of War of the Worlds and Cloverfield.

Yeah, very cool monster IMO but crappy movie. I think most people agree that it should have never been called Godzilla and the acting sucked, except for the Frech guy (Jean Reno) from The Professional.

Time for sex-ed because aprently
1. Youre too young and havent had it yet
or
2. Youre too old to remember because more important things have crawled in
or
3. You just suck at basic biology.

Asexual reproduction is a form of reproduction which does not involve meiosis, ploidy reduction(fertilization of an egg by sperm) Asexual reproduction only takes one parent, it is not gender specific. Asexual reproduction is the primary form of reproduction for single-celled organisms such as archaea, bacteria, and protists.

Sexual reproduction is characterized by two processes: meiosis, involving the halving of the number of chromosomes; and fertilization, involving the fusion of two gametes and the restoration of the original number of chromosomes. It needs genders of a male and a female. Members of the group animia, fungi, planta, and one more i cant remember reproduce this way.

Thus MGP can not produce asexually, he/she would need a member of the oppisite gender to reproduce, becaues cells divide during asexual reproduction, and weld have 1,000,000,000,000s of MGPs crawling around.

Asexuality is a sexual orientation describing individuals who do not experience sexual attraction. And im just guessing that the thing is asexual.

btw i think the monster is a reptile which leads me to believe that it reproduces asexually; a trait which is common with some reptiles. And i think that all of its children are "born pregnant". Wink

Well I'm glad noimagirlrlly corrected things here, as I found the incorrect definition of asexual offered to be a little iritating. I found it funny that is was suddenly made gender specific.
Asexual as a biological term is exactly as noimagirlrlly defined it. In terms of behavior it is closer to what 1-18-08 SLUSHOMAKESUHAPPY offered. Problem is, we are discussing pregnancy, and how being asexual in nature would exclude MGP from becoming pregnant. Mitosis of the animal would prevent the need for sexual reproduction, so it wouldn't have a gender and thus be unable to get pregnant. Considering the 'small monster' theories this could be a truly asexual creature, using a form of mitosis called 'budding' to produce offspring. That'd be very unusual for such a complex organism though.

He may not be able to reproduce 'asexually' per se, but there is other methods of reproduction:

There is parthenogenesis reproduction in which an egg develops into an embryo without having been fertilized by a male, sort of a virgin birth.

Also MGP could be hermaphroditic which would allow he/she to ummm, reproduce with himself so to speak.

So MGP COULD have babies. ^_^

Wouldn't they be soooo cute?

/feeds baby GP a Slusho!
