360*

Hey Isis Adventurers!!

I received my Isis ball on Christmas. Spent so far about 7 hours on it. My question is in the spoiler, unsure if its OK to post it here or not.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I got the placentas 1 cm apart, then 180*, then all the way back to the starting point (360*), giving it one full twist around (I have a gap in between, almost opened). Now it wont budge in either direction, appearing to be 'locked' where it is, plunger pressed or not..

I'm stuck here, I've been trying the same method I've been using to try to get it open.. with no avail. the button won't depress slightly anymore, it goes down fully now. Is there a tip/hint.. a nudge towards the right direction for me?

Feel free to PM me any hints/suggestions. thank you!!

Got my ISIS for christmas, PUZZ, if you still read here, what kind of 'rotate do you mean for your tecnique of opening? I smacked it and it sounds a bit louder, dont know if thats the 3rd ball or wether i just altered the course of the other 2

My placentas are still in line, plunger still goes all the way, i cant get the 3rd ball into this damn maze, do you mean rotate around the blue band axis, the top to bottom axis or spin wildly any way possible?

And is it a rolling rotate or a shake to get the ball through the maze. I sat here the past 10 mins just hammering the plunger up and down whilst spinning the entire puzzle. Its really getting annoying now

Anybody, if you can help me, number1barber & cliveawalsh in particular as they said back a few pages they were helping others if you could add my email and help i'd be greatful: impaktgtasSPLATgooglemail.com

Placentas

Question = spoiler.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So, if the 3BB is out do the placentas ALWAYS mvoe apart? I think my 3rd ball is out, but the placentas are still perfectly aligned. Also: does turning the ISIS a certain way re-lock the 3rd ball?

Help much needed and appreciated![/spoiler]

So do the rings have lots to do with opening this puppy?
Do you even need to find a symbol combo?

Step 8 Accomplished

Well I'm at step 8. I have the ISIS upside down and all the ball bearings are quiet and seem to be in place. The next step tells me what to do, but I haven't seemed to get the right combinations of rings or pressure on the button.

This thing is so frustrating. Am I getting close. The instructions say I am, but I really wonder. I dont' want to flip it over for fear of loosing what I've accomplished already.

Hints from anyone appreciated.

I just spent another 30 minutes of finger killing time on the orb. Please God, Grant me the wisdom to solve this puzzle. Amen

My fingers are killing me. I think the nerve endings are bruised and battered.

CLue six: does it mean to press it multiple times in a row? or does it mean to press it until it comes to a certain point and then it stops?

Thanks for help in advance

How did you get the 3rd ball released?

Ade: I see something strange on your Isis. On the solid stationary gold/brass part between the ring and the threads, there is an ORB engraved in it. Both halves have this marking. Mine does not have this reference point marking on it at all. Do the upper and lower rings really play a factor in the solution? I don't have 2 lions next to each other either on any ring. In fact, I have no doubles at all on any of the three rings.

If you want to contact me privately, email is dwareham02SPLATcomcast.net

Just curious as all get out. Thanks. Don "Cobrafast1"

Registering
Bought in US, but live in UK

I've been in the USA for christmas and I recieved the ISIS from sharper image as a present, in order to register it, it requires a US address but I live in the UK, will I have to use the american registration site or can I register it on UK site, however as the US ISIS is different from the UK one will i recieve the wrong information?

P.s I think that i have released the 3rd ball bearing, but i don't know if i have got it through the maze or not, when i push down hard on the plunger it clicks, is this significant?

there's no way it's that simple.

do i tilt it sideways or upside down or right-side-up?

If you are sure you want me to spoil it for you read on......this is a major spoiler

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
once the third ball bearing is free (Clue 11), it will moving around a maze...have a look at the Xrays they help understand. you have got to get it to the center of the maze.. to do this, Keep the plunger facing upwards and rotate.....rotate is the word not twist...very important as this will navigate the ball through the maze. once hte ball is at the center of the maze when you press the plunger and it only depresses slightly

This put you about 2 mins away from opening it

Nope...its the gold symbols that are key engraved on the solid part of the orb

Hi all, I got the ISIS for my xmas, (but opened it early lol) what a lovely orb it is Smile
Ive read all the pages of this forum, but stayed away from anything that gives too much away as I would like to try opening it myself. Problem is Im stuck, I took days deciphering the clues and got the 3rd BB ( I think...I can hear the 2BB's on rails near the bottom of the orb and I think I can hear a 3rd nearer the top on rails, is this correct?)
Anyway thats where Im stuck Ive plunged it so many times and rotated it in all directions and I cant get the plunger to stick or the gold placentas to move apart Sad I spent about 8 hours on it last night!
Can anyone tell me if im doing something wrong, I have it plunger faced up and rotate the whole orb 360 degrees several times. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to point me in the right direction.
