I agree that, while Alien 3 wasnt as good as the first two (Aliens being my favorite), it was still a very good movie. Alien 4 took it way way way too far.

Both original Predators were good too, with the first one being sheer genius. I loved at the end of the 2nd when you see the Alien skull in the ship... Very Happy

AVP1 was... meh. The predators died WAY WAY WAY Too easlily. One alien killing TWO PREDS? WTF? Also, Humans kill aliens alot... yet Humans are still one of their main preys... Why did the predator side with the humans?

I have yet to see AVP-R though.

Predator didn't actually side with the humans... quite often when the humans met up with him, if they were armed, they were killed. If they weren't armed, and the predator didn't have 'bigger matters' to tend to, perhaps he would have killed them too, who knows. At that time, the Alien of was more import than unarmed or harmless humans; but shoot or shine a gun in his face, and you're dead.
I don't believe the pred was protecting humans as much as trying to clean up the Alien infestation, with a few humans getting in his way.

OH! You were referring to AvP1... missed that part in your original comment. The Predator didn't do any human-teaming in AvPR, that's what I was referring to, sorry.

Someone on IMDB said it best. Something like 'It's a horrible film, but it's a great movie'. It's only pissing us off now cause it's fresh. You KNOW most of u will watch it again, laugh at the dumb shit, and sit back and enjoy the good stuff. I look forward to that. And the hope that one day they'll do this shit right. Can't wait to watch this at home so i can turn the fucking BRIGHTNESS UP! Goddamn, impossible to see half this fucker.

Better than the first by miles.
A fun, violent, corny B movie. Enjoy it for what it is.
