Over 1000 yards/meters tall?

Surprised no one has mentioned the scale/length of the image. If I remember correctly, distances in sonar readings are usually in yards or meters...from the center of the "ring" going outward, each circle is marked 100, 500, 1000. That would imply the image of whatever is on the screen looks to be over a 1000 yards/meters long...that's over a 1/2 mile tall.

Well, we saw GP (Partially) and he/she's nowhere near 1/2 a mile tall.

Anyone else seeing 2 or 3 triangular objects outlined in the scan?

Somewhere along the lines of |><| but at a rotated angle? Like some sort of markings along the ocean floor, maybe outlining a part of GrumpyPants.

thats great slusho addict, more detailed (to me atleast)

it looks like a basic sonar scan, i remember watching a show on trying to find nessie using sonar, kept showing it as a square scan not a typical radar scan like its showing

if thats true, then what we are seeing is either an egg or a pod/ship

if thats not true, then may the berat wearing MGP be our end

TY SlushoAddict. Now it looks like GP is curled up on the ocean floor (flip it upside down). This could be when Taggy discovers GP... maybe gonna send some subs for investigation...

Yeah something like that. Very Happy
The sharpness of that line is making me think the original image was cut off past there, so it could be misleading, or the monster could be on skis.

I knew it. Jurassic Park 4: Dumber than a box of Robs

Cause maybe, just maybe, it's time to pay back that 11 dollars.

(Brownie to anyone who gets the reference)

Seeing as I accidentally deleted my post right as I was about to post it and I'm too frustrated to flush it all out again, here's a shortened version of it.
Evil or Very Mad

Judging by the Tagruato logo in the background, the Tagruato label, and the fact it was sent from a Tagruato address, it was generated (or meant to look like it was) by Tagruato. Seeing as Tagruato probably wouldn't just pass this image around, regardless of what it really is, to random people; it was more than likely sent by our whistle blower, or someone working with him. This leads to the assumption that it would likely damage Tagruato. Also, both images are dated 12/18/2007, the same date as our last contact by the whiste blower, also one month before the release date of the movie and the date on the 1-18-08.com photographs.
The images themselves have x,y coordinates listed on the bottom right hand of the screen. These likely relate to a Cartesian coordinate system, somehow linked to where the images were taken and/or the location of the image-taking device (buoy, ship, station, satellite, etc.). They also likely don't relate directly to longitudinal locations.
I'm going to make the assumption that the feature doesn't move between the two images, as it stays EXACTLY the same shape, including outlaying extremities. This is highly unlikely if it's an animate object moving. I think it's much more likely that the object is some sort of static object, such as an island, or an oil rig shaped inexplicably like three giant triangles. (Just had to throw that out there Laughing)
Now judging by how the shape of the feature within the images doesn't change (other than the resolution and detail), but the coordinates do, I'm assuming that the coordinate refer to the position of the feature within a larger image (ie, this image is a portion of a larger one). With the coordinates different, it means that they are two different images are taken from different locations. The biggest challenge to this theory is that the images don't change at all to reflect that they would be taken from a different angle (although if it was taken from space, it might be such a small difference that it would be impossible to notice).
The change is detail might be explained by a change in the settings, such as the change in the red meter on the bottom right. Another possibility is in the change of the message on the bottom left.
There is a scale drawn out on the rings, most likely either in nanometers (wait for it), feet, meters, miles, or kilometers depending on how the image was taken. Knowing the scale will likely help determine what the object it. At one point in the second image, a strain of color escapes even the 1000 ring, reaching about the 1350ish level.

Now, when writing this, I did create a little bit more irregular theory. Rather than being a macroscopic sonar image (only real evidence we have towards that is "son-air" sounding like sonar), it could potentially be an image captured from a microscope. This opens up a whole new realm of possibilities regarding the object featured in the image.
Given the circular scale, typically found in sonar and radar, and irregular to microscopes, it is much more likely one of those.

Edit: I originally had the microscope flushed out a lot more with more evidence, but as I think and investigate the possibility more, the more and more I doubt it's truth. I still posted because it hadn't been mentioned yet and could lead to a more productive discovery.

If it has a tail, it could easily reach that length

I doubt JJ would be put the outline of MGP in any of these pictures, and even if he did, it would be generic(like a stick figure) and we wouldn't reallysee MGP.

No, he wouldn't show us a clear outline... but would definitely give us tantalizing glimpses and hints.. like a sonar image that doesnt go deep enough to outline him completely.

As someone mentioned above, the boat symbol is usually dead center (indicating top down from the boats position) maybe this image was taken from Tag's new geostationary satelite?

Or from a deepsea mining vehicle?

going back to the I love bees puzzles, did anyone try and open the images in text pad and look for a message?

Seems to me we have gotten a message with each piece of info, so maybe we are missing a msg here
(texting from my phone otherwise would do it myself)
