Used to watch this show with the kids way back when...anyway...I wonder if JJ had to buy certain rights to that name for his Slusho! drink because I honestly think Nick'o just made it up on the fly back then cause they couldn't use "Slushee" or "Slurpee" legally.
Cool coincidence nonetheless.
peace.

I doubt Nick even remembers Slush-O. They have a tendency to want to forget about their past life at Nickelodeon Studios.

See: Hey Arnold, and Doug getting replaced with Zoey 101, and Drake and Josh.

Hey Arnold was pretty cool. Now, I think that Nick is reaching that audience that reads tabloids every day and is 12 years old.

They probably used it because they couldn't use Slushee and didn't give much thought to copyrighting it, like JJ did. Or they could've copyrighted it, hence the change from "Slush-O" in Alias to "Slusho!" in the present. Cool nonetheless. I used to watch that show as a kid, surprised I don't remember Slusho being there.
lmao @ "JJA" in the background! HAHA!

I'm not debating the new shows just that Nick seemly has no respect for their old ones. Sure they still show Kenan and Kel but I bet they really don't care about it and it likely will be off of The N eventually. What made this obvious to me though is how they treated the content of Nick GAS which has severely been cut down (and will be completely replaced by The N early tomorrow morning).
Plus I personally believe the "Kids Choice Awards" are actually decided by the corporate staff and PR managers than the actual kids, how else will stars be nominated for awards for performances in R rated movies when the majority of Nick's target audience normally don't watch R rated movies. Either that or the parents have really stopped being parents since the days I used to watch Nick.

ok so i just have to chime in, first off yes SALUTE YOUR SHORTS > any of the crap they throw on nowadays. I grew up on nick and now i have nieces and i was watching them one day while nick was on and it seemed like it is now just melrose place, or 90210 just with pre-teens. WTF!!!!! Nick used to be good clean fun, no real drama crap and no 16 year olds getting preggers (yes from what i have heard they are going to do a love/sex episode of that show with britney's sister) when i have kids i dont want them watching that crap, i will totally go out and get them old tapes/dvd's of salute your shorts, hey arnold, the adventures of pete & pete, and all of those kind of shows.
AHHH the good old days. Hey maybe the monster is nothing more than just one giant trip down memory lane!!! freaky
but secondly i am just upset that i didn't see this before i filmed my slusho commercial for the contest, otherwise i totally would have included keenan's slusho song in there

Are you sure? My math teacher taught us that Pac-Man always takes the bigger bite. I will have to check on that...
