No no no

Plunger up... the 3rd ball bearing is held by a magnet... takes a decent amount of force to get it to drop... try holding the plunger up and gunning it at a phone book, quite possibly as hard as u can... after that the ball will definitely be in play

maze spoiler

Ok i've opened my and closed my isis several times now and have decided to see how the maze works. here is a picture. you do the big bang to release the 3rd ball from the magnet... if yours has 3 bb. mine didn't. then rotate the ball to the middle of the maze.

 Stuck..
but oh so close !!

Hi,

So I managed to get myself fairly far on this one..

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I've got the 3BB loose, and managed to get the placentas to move (the top glyph is now to the right about 1cm) I dont hear the two smaller ball bearings rolling around anymore - just the bigger 3rd one

I've been stuck here for some time now! Could anyone offer some kind of nudge to either get me back to the starting position.. or to continue on from here !

Any help (PM or post) would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks!

Finally It's Open

My finger tips are about to fall off, but I got it open. The Big Bang Theory worked to dislodge the 3rd BB. I thought I had it released for the past two days. Now, I figure it out.

It had no key inside, just a number stamped in there. Now to get online and enter the number and get the key or next step. This is exciting.

Try dropping from about chest high and make sure it lands plunger up. I dropped mine on a rug covering a tile floor. Great for impact. I didn't want to crack a tile or scratch the orb. Good Luck.

so your saying drop it so it lands facing up so i can see the plunger. and would it make a difference if i dropped it onto my carpet or not?

If you have a wood floor and don't mind an dent in the floor as a reminder of Isis, that would work. I just didn't want to scratch or put a tell tale mark on the Isis. What is needed is a really good inertia stop for the ball to dislodge. Must land plunger up. Good Luck

 I think I broke it

Ok, I deciphered the clues last night with a little help from a friend, and managed to get the third ball bearing into play when I got mad and tossed it across the room. With the swirling and etc I managed to get the balls all locked where they go and I began spinning the top half freely, but stopped before I opened it to take it into the living room and show my family as I opened it. When I got in there I began spinning the top the wrong direction and it re-closed on me with the placentas firmly in line once again. After some amount of fiddling I got the placentas 180 degrees apart, and some more fiddling took me backwards so that they're only about a cm apart now. I can only hear one ball rolling around inside and I'm not sure anymore if my plunger is depressing all the way or halfway, but at any rate nothing I do makes that one ball stop rolling, and sometimes when depressing the plunger I hear a small click, but it makes no difference in my ability to manipulate the puzzle. I think I may have broken it, because I can't dislodge the other two balls to move backwards and nothing I do moves me forwards. I'm so close! If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate them

ok i think i have gotten the bb3 into play but my thoughts on what to do now are a little fuzzy. do i have to then move the rings with hieroglyphics to make sure there is no bb's. or do i have to do something else.

It's not broken. You are so close it's pathetic. Keep trying, you'll get it. I have to laugh, because some of your scenario, I did too. But I didn't try pitching practice. That's a hoot.

Plunger to the stars upon impact. Carpet is to just protect the orb from getting scratched and revealing telll tale marks. If you have thick carpeting, it may not work. Mine is just a rug over ceramic tile floor which is over a cement slab sub-floor. Good Luck
