Just chiming in to say that, yes, all the "Cloverfield" files on eMule are indeed porn. No leaks there.
That's that then, good work.

I agree. often times they do debunk rarely do say something is haunted.

I'm sorry, never said I did not like it. My boys and I watch it every Wednesday night.

Exactly, they just do not debunk things like they used to. They are too quick to call things "Haunted" these days.
I was able to debunk the Moon River Brewery ghost. The one where the thing came out of the wall and went behind the pool table. OK, actually my wife did but I will steal her thunder. She never watched the show until that episode came on again after Halloween. One look and she debunked it. I have seen it about 20 times and it freaked me and my kids out every time. Once I saw what she did I was laughing my ass off.
I was just making a point that everyone here did what Ghosthunters have forgotten how to do.............debunk.

if it was leaked to the web by any of the reputable "ripping" groups the nfo file would be up on www.vcdquality.com and it is not... most likely doesn't exist.

So can we get a header change on this thread? Maybe a ban for the user who started it?
This sent a lot of people running from the boards in fear of spoiler discussion. I almost left myself until I saw a HUMOR post about it.
We need to make a point that this is not acceptable behavior, or we're going to get flooded with stupidity like this in the next couple of weeks.

I don't think that user will be posting again either way!
Of course, it's possible that they were relaying what they believed to be genuine info, but I think it's probably the same guy who wrote the fake review a while back, there's some similar elements in them.
The eMule torrents weren't the film, but they probably weren't related to the original post anyway.

With so many trolls running around, I'm afraid we're gonna end up with a 'Boy Who Cried Wolf' situation.
Someone will come in here and post some info after actually seeing the movie ...but nobody will believe them.

well, we still have at least two and a half more weeks before anyone gets to see it even in they work in the theatre. I've been poking one of my Best Buy co-workers that also works at the theatre in town to find out when their reels come in, but he's like a mushroom. They keep him in the dark and feed him poo.

There will be a picture of the monster, and probably some plot details leaked in the next 10 days. Count on it. No one has EVER managed to keep a major movie under wraps all the way to the release date.
Even the "Luke, I am your Father" thing was leaked early by those that got to see advanced screenings of Empire. And there was no internet in 1980.
Sometime soon, one of these things is actually going to be real. I don't care to be spoiled. If anyone finds something and don't know if it's real or not, send it my way. I'll check it out and just say "Real" or "Bullshit".

My Uncle was working in the same studio (he's working on hellboy 2 atm, got my dad a hellboy 2 Crew shirt for Christmas, lmao!) whilst the work for Cloverfield Animation was happening. The workprint premire was strictly crew only. So I doubt it would be leaked. =]

My cousin works at Bad Robot actually. (He worked on Alias, and that's the only JJ project he worked on so far) He says that the Cloverfield set is like the White House- security checks and even guards with tranq darts when they were doing something big.
Very unlikely that a workprint would be offered to be downloaded or ripped onto a torrent site. This IS a trout, and the guy's talking Bull's Shit.
