My gateway machine had a boot sector failure when my wife was setting up her new camera.

The zip file I posted way back when includes a text file that provides the full methodology to the solve. The password to the zip file is the answer to the riddle. So, if Falthis solves the riddle, he will be able to open the zip file.

Darren you're too easy. Tell Bobby-Falthis we will be the final judge of the correct answer. That should be our rule.

jjocke, that's true. I doubt Falthis-Bobby could even solve the enigma anyway.

So send Rogi's Or

Tell Bobby-Falthis that the All-Mighty Mihr holds the answer and good luck on prying it from her hands.

Otherwise, tell him the answer will be sent as soon as the Creator of the Puzzle "Jimmy the Geek" returns.

its too late, i hadnt got the zip password, i havent got the answer, i cant send the enigma, the post you sent was at 11:59:23.

I had to send the backup vigenere, im sorry but i gave everyone the last 5 or more hours to pick one and send me the answer. The vigenere is sent an next time, be more prompt everyone.

NEVER MIND, i have more rant in me. IF THE PM SAYS HE WANTS THE ANSWER, HE WANTS THE ANSWER!! We have to give it to him whether or not we want to, it is part of the story. Thank you Rogni for cooperating, even if you were late. However, even with the PM reassuring us, everyone else blew me off and remained secretive. I did not make this executive decision but made it with 3 other members. MacActibity, sorry we couldnt send yours, i do feel bad to some point. however, i had waited till 11:59 to send it and if you want to ask the PM he will verify that. so do not pin this on me, this is the fault of untimliness, etc.

I have to agree with DK on this one. It seems like no one wants to do anything, or make any decisions, yet everyone wants to complain about everything. All I know is that this whole business is a mess, and if this challenge continues we are gonna have to figure out a better way to handle things. We have to follow the PM's rules, even if we don't like them.

There is only one thing I have to say about that:

It's obvious the PM has no experience. And I'm pretty sure what few of you that are left will be his only players.

As for making decisions, our decisions were made. Darren just didn't want to except them. And any PM that doesn't allow for unexpected delays doesn't know what he is doing. As for following the PMs rules he makes them up as he goes along.

So, have fun kiddies.

Man, this sucks. I stay off the computer for a weekend and all Heck breaks loose. I don't think any one person was in the wrong here. We were given a short time frame to submit the riddle and it fell on a weekend in between two holidays. I think there was too much pressure. The PM will do what he will no matter what we send, with an answer or not. In the end, this is his story. If you don't like the way it is going, I understand wanting to leave. However it makes me sad to see anyone go(especially Sylvia and Natas, you people are awesome!!).

Well as we head into the new year, it appears Nathan Cade and friends may have a rocky start, but I have faith that we can all band together and get through our differences. After all isn't this what makes us all do this, working together to the point we blow apart, and then we come back together again when there is a crisis??
