[OFF-TOPIC] I have an idea for a like-movie, Slusho inspired
A movie of horror that occurs while watching Cloverfield

I just finished watching the X-files movie and remembered that the bees were becoming infected by alien "black oil" through the growth of corn on the crops. And I also thought about the recent turn of the US to corn based ethanol-fuel, and bio-engineering that would be involved to make stronger corn. Add in the Native American old explanation that out of the reason that 1 of the corn corn-subtypes popped "http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/107571/the_history_of_popcorn.html" under heat exposure because it released the "little demon inside", and I think we got enough for a horror movie while watching a horror movie. Last but not least, I would like to add that the aboriginal tribes of central Mexico made reference to people being "made" out of corn.

It all happens real time within a movie theater as the mutated popcorn is introduced in a small town U.S. while watching the opening night of a horror movie.

Butter, salt, or blood for your popcorn?

They start of being ingested as unpopped or semi-popped kernels.....

Ah, well, I just on't eat popcorn. I mostly bring pizza or Mountain dew (unless they put some in the air or drink).

YUCK! Mountain Dew?! I'll take the Crab Juice...

Sick idea for a horror movie - the Native American part of me loves it! Twisted Evil

This is perhaps the worst idea I have ever heard, please don't make this into a movie.

EDIT: Of course, a movie about the voice mail from hell did get made, so go for it. Wink

I'd do it X-files style. I remember a creepy episode where a kid sneaks into a movie theatre after the movie has started and ducks down. It's only a few minutes back that he looks back at the audience to see if anyone's noticed him and all he sees is dead rotting corpses looking back at him.

Start it off like that, give some people who have tried the popcorn hallucinegeic visions of movie characters and monsters interacting with them before the REAL threat roaming the aisles of the theater gets them. Heck, make the pot heads immune, or people with THC remnants in their system immune from having the infestation kill them, but have them CRAVE more of the popcorn. go with some of the ideas and threads that we thought WOULD happen in Cloverfield but didn't.

If worst comes to worst, this would make an ideal parody movie for Scary Movie 5.

Gotta go TRADEMARK this bad boy.
