Arrg...being stuck at work on New Year's Eve and being sleep deprived means I had time to draw some really BAD outlines on the greyscale pics. I don't normally do this, but here goes anyway.

The first one I did (lameoutline) is the sonar image as it was rendered out originally. I see a very elongated head with a near human like face (reminds me of the Newborn Alien from Alien:Resurrection *shudder*) and two arms with pinscers. The body seems big, but not very distinct. Not a very cool design IMHO.

The other one (lameoutline2) is the upside down sonar image. It seems more in line with what we've seen in the trailer. Head is not as elongated, but still xenomorph like. The arms end in clawed appendages, not crab claws, and the body is more human. A forward facing thigh can be made out, along with something behind. This looks a bit more promising.

*shrug*...see what happens when I have too much free time? Smile

I think whats being forgotten is that this is a overhead shot. ill take another look at it, but so far, all of your illustrations have shown the monster lying on its side in an uncomfortable (or dead)position.
