I'm an old cloudmaker who's been waiting for this for ages - unfortunately I'm getting married next week & may have other things to do! Should be back from honeymoon before wide awake and physical tho'.

Thanks for the Teddy puzzle, vpisteve!

I was a CloudMaker as well. I wasn't the most L33t puzzle cracker, but I did figure out most of the beginning puzzles before most of the group did. My one regret it that I couldn't do the live-action puzzle solving in LA and NY. I can't wait to see where this trail leads us.

I was never a particularly major player on Cloudmakers, but I was there... and have been waiting for something like this.

Man, have I ever been waiting. Very Happy

Game on.

Hey, are all you Cloudmakers gonna stick around if for some reason the curtain gets pulled back and it's NOT the Beast team?

Because, you know, there have been plenty of really good games since the Beast. In fact, many of those games have had players say the same things that you all are saying about this one: the writing has that trademark 'feel', there's a familiarity to the web sites, etc.

All of those people were wrong.

They still got to play a good game, however, even if it wasn't the holy grail they thought they had been seeking since July of 2001.

I'm a Cloudmaker myself. I'll be nearly as excited as you if it turns out to be our loveable Hive-minded rapscallion puppetmasters behind this effort. But, mostly? I am hoping for a good game to play.

OMG if this isn't Beast 2 I'm gonna run away and stuff my head in a hole!!!

But that would mean I'd have to return to doing real work instead of slacking... err playing. Guess that means sticking around is the better option. Very Happy

If this game was well-done enough and large-scope enough that I found about it through my normal newsreading, then it doesn't matter if it's TRULY the Beast II... I'm already hooked. Smile

Yeah, you Cloudmakers (I'm one, and I proudly hang my A.I. poster with all of our names on it on my wall) have gotten lazy and disappeared into the woodwork. If this isn't the Beast II, you people darn well need to shake that rust off and get some practice in while waiting for the real one. So, if you disappear on us, I'm gonna hunt you down and leave puzzling voicemails that lead nowhere. Then you'll be sorry!

I've only heard about you cloudmakers... legends you are. I can't wait for this ARG to get off the ground, and I hope you join us on this new adventure. Only sad thing is I think there will be more BeeKeepers then CloudMakers... hope we can still get to know eachother.

12 hours till the next set of clues!!!

In 1 days, network throttling will erode. In 15 days this medium will metastasize.

This will be such a journey.

hurrah

Another old Cloudmaker here, ready to be a Beekeeper. Ready to lose summer Tuesdays and Fridays to obsessive story-following. Ready, I hope, for another twisted ride. . .

Hello all!

I was one of the early Cloudmakers as well (joined April 20 2001). This time I'm lurking more, posting less. Life made things work out that way.
