the numbers at the bottom are also found on the bottom left corner of the picture of the face with goggles. they are barely legible. and they become "ATQU13E.COM". also 0120 is a prefix for some phone numbers here in japan. but its too many numbers.

I "auto-leveled" the pic for clarity..

queue is a word. kind of like a list or something if i remember right... so by my gorilla deduction skills.... 1=e and 3=u

This pattern is repeated on the absinthe bottle - liqu13r instead of liqueur 1=e 3=u

While that's not a bad idea, I'm not sure that's right.

The general consensus (I think) has been that Qu13e = Qube (move the 1 and 3 close together).
The absinthe bottle would support your hypothesis, except that there is no "r".

And nice work on all the other stuff. Smile
Do you have the full size "puzzle" pics?

Oh, and use the edit button. Wink

I compared the absinthe bottle on this site to a real absinthe bottle of the same brand... and it says "liqueur" so in reality there is an r. That's how i came up with that. and I do not have the full size pics... sorry about the quad posts I did so many edits last night it was ridiculous.

I know liqueur is spelt with an "r", and it's needed at the end of the spelling in the pic to validate your idea.

Anyway, what was the decode method for the numbers in the corner of that pic?

I didn't decode the numbers. I just cleaned up the pic a little bit.

found a website

hope this helps http://web.archive.org/web/20041207053654/www.splinternails.com/randomcam/?section=bewarethesigns

and i used 1=a - z=26 for the numbers

EDIT1: while looking through the older stuff on in these forums i noticed that the "is this remembering?" poem has changed since this puzzle was last active. maybe some of the old clues still apply.

EDIT2: also on my way home yesterday i stopped by the store and found out the kanji below the 58 they are not on the real thing but i will have them translated as soon as i can.

EDIT3: noticed "Eye Hide Hear" very light in the bottom right corner of is "is this remembering?" poem and every letter that was slashed to spell "random martin" has numbers below it.

Good luck on this one guys.. I am leaving for 4 weeks starting tomorrow night. I might be able to get on sporadically but probably not. Too bad this looks interesting. I'll do what I can today and tomorrow morning.

Hey everyone, I'm new here and to the ARG. I hope I can help with this one.

I checked the properties of each of the nine images and I got an alternate text. Reading it from left to right, top to bottom I got:

It's in between the echoes where you'll find me...

Anyone got a clue what this means?

Hi and welcome. That is being discussed in this thread already. I don't think we quite know what it means. But your input is very welcome.

Beware the numbers

This might be totally old news, but "THREE ONE ONE ZERO HEY SAY FIFTEEN" is a date. October 31 Heisei 15 - or 2003.

I looked at the source for qu13e.com, and the image filenames gave me "STARSPILL" and a long-ass series of numbers which don't make a lot of sense.

The numbers are 595 389 010 369 919 619 333 345 039.

So there's that 345 again, but none of the rest of it looks familiar. It's not in an order that looks like any kind of alphabetical equivalence, and there are way too many for a phone number, or even two phone numbers. The numbers in the note with the slashed letters might be a clue, or it might be random numbers - Martin lies, apparently.

In the slashed letter note, there were more numbers than just the 345. The A had a 1, the Ns had 6s, and the O had a 78. It looked like there were a couple others I couldn't make out. The M N O makes sense, because you have that 345678, but it makes me wonder what happened to the 2.

My first thought for "dm" was "deliberate martin", which is probably just a neuronal misfire.

Has anyone else noticed that it's quIXe now? Like quinine or something?

need some fancy work on a pic

if anybody has any technical savvy with digital photos please make the area under the bicycle wheel more clear. some thing is written or drawn under the front tire.

on one hand we are told that martin is a liar and also told "beware the numbers trust the lies". does anybody else think we should trust martin?
