So does this mean those satellite pictures from the Whistle Blower were showing, not Mr Grumpypants, but the remains of Chuai station? Lots to speculate on here...

This also seems to clear up why there was no communication with Jamie from Randy, seems he was unable to get in touch with ANYONE.


Who knows, maybe we'll see one more Jamie video...


Edit: Alright, so no more Chuai, if it's underwater, Teddy probably had a tough time sneaking on... if it's kaput... Teddy is probably no more.

It was never said which station he got on and we don't know how he got on it.

An underwater station has to have deliveries of supplies, he could have got on that way.

It's more likely that it was an above water station that just isn't there now though.

True, I'm just speculating it is Chuai, but this station seems to be the one Tidowave is really focusing on, and I think it's pretty safe to speculate.

If anything, I think it clears up why Randy was incommunicado with Jamie.

 		I always had a nagging suspicion that the "sonar" image wasn't of the monster. The near straight line made it almost certainly something artificial.

This fits, this fits very well...but it also makes me very concerned. They just killed off our major, hell, our ONLY link to the monster. So...

We now have a very pissed off MGP who apparently just ate an oil rig. Maybe this leads to the movie events, but...if this is all we get, then it's kind of a cop-out as far as the backstory. Don't we get any concrete info on WHY the monster woke up and decided to eat an oil rig? And/or how they found it in the first place?

Something about this doesn't sit right.

No... it may just be that they used similar wording, or that Powell (or whoever she hired to write this) is making an inside joke/allusion to that line. HUD isn't involved, IMO.

Tagruato is making something, or has found something.
On January 1, the Chaui station is destroyed by something BIG.
Send a shipment of whatever (Slusho?) to New York City.
Monster follows it.
Destroys NYC.
