This is going to be long ass post.

This is my Thorght, if you thrink otherwise, thats cool.

Tagruato is a sponsor for Slusho. It does deep sea drilling in different parts of the world, it collects Seabed Nectar (the secret ingredient Noriko found) for Slusho, and ships containers of Slusho around the world.

Tagruato has an oil rig, The Chaui Station, just off the East coast of America.

Whales get effected by Deep Sea Drilling.

A deep sea whale found a pile of food, Seabed Nectar, and started feeding off of it. It became so addicted to it, it started to mutate and become huge.
After the Chaui station was built, they found that there was Seabed Nectar below them, so they dug it out and sent it to Japan where Slusho used it to make thousands more Slushos.
After the giant whale found that his stash of Nectar was gone, he got pretty pissed off. He was also getting pissed off because the Deep Sea Drilling was hurting his ears.

A couple of days ago, TIDOwave found a picture of a Sonar image of SOMETHING. The thing it was focusing on seemed to be scattered around.

Well call the monster "Clover". Now Clover got very angry, and swam up to the Chaui station and started terrorizing it. It smashed it to pieces and scattrered it all around.

Just before Clover attacked Chaui, Tagruato sent a shipment of Slusho to New York City. This was on January 1, 2008. Clover follows that shipment to New York City and BINGO, Hud has his camera ready to go on January 18, 2008.

This is what all the clues so far point to.
As for Jamie, well, Tagruato know she knows Teddy and know where she lives, and they cant have that. Goodbye sexy legs.

I also believe that they wont explain the backstory in the actual movie.
Lets face it, 5 New Yorkers arnt going to find out where the monster came from, why it came, the entire back story in 1 night.
Not even the government will find out that quick.

I think its some kind of deep sea creature, maybe not a whale, but thats what the HINTS on the Slusho website point to.

 		I agree with all of that. The Slusho thing might be a little far fetched but everything else seems spot-on.

 		yea thats pretty much whad i would say as well...but like u mentioned..its not gonna be explained in the movie at all. maybe, maybe they find out slusho has got something to do with it...but if not....there might not be a single cup of slusho in the entire film.

i ll miss sexy legs.

Unless I'm wrong, the Seabed's Nectar has been known since at least 2001 when Slusho was seen on an "Alias" episode. I think in game lore has them finding the ingredient sometime in the 1990s--well before the Chuai station was built.

I think there was something else going on at Chuai that they decided to build there.

 		Well there's variations and holes of/in that theory. Like the monster might already exist, not be mutated by Slusho, however the mutation theory fits with "you can't drink just six" and the exploding person. A problem with the mutation theory is that there's no monsters/exploding people in Japan (that we know of). Also if the rig was destroyed/moved on the 1st, why did it take the tanker/monster 17 days to reach NYC?

I think there's too much flying around right now to say, "This is it." There's always gonna be some way to disprove or modify a theory.

 		it clearly isn't slusho in the tanker. Unless slusho is flammable. 'Cause that tanker is pretty much engulfed in flames.

It's also spec that the night of the party didnt go down on 1-18, yet before then. Aswell, think about how fast a tanker moves. it'd take several days to get from chuai to new york. and speaking that we dont know the absolute feeding habits of this thing. It could very well hunt the tanker down until it reaches new york, we wont really know until the movie comes out, even then it could even be after the movie

Plankton. That's tiny living things adrift in the ocean. Some of it is animal, other vegetable. It's what baleen whales filter for, and thus makes them omnivores.
There are plenty of large toothed whales that eat live prey. The sperm whale is a prime example.

A tanker or freighter could leak enough fuel to generate that much fire. If it was leaking oil any kind of profusely, it should create a far larger fire than that.

 		Sort of what I was thinking all along, although not certain about it being a whale. There is no such thing as a "deep sea" whale as far as I know. All whales must get air to survive. Even the greatest whales can only stay down a finite amount of time, before having to rise back up for a resupply of air.

But I'm guessing there is no slusho per se. It's seabed's nectar, and is shipped to plants for processing for Slusho. Perhaps there is a leaky tanker, and it follows it. That's my theory at least.
