[SPEC]More Proof, Monster sounds like a whale Listen to the following sounds:
1.) For the Big Monster roar sound: hover over the silver ball and click the one that says "Groaning"
2.) For the "smaller monsters"(from the scene when they hear a noise in the tunnel and turn around, Marlena says "Did you hear that?")
click silver circle marked "Whistling"

The flaw with that theory though is that those sounds are recorded under water, whilst the roar we've heard is likely made in the open air and would likely sound incredibly different.

I'm sticking to my guns about this one...

I think the the 'roar' was inspired by 'bloop'
Just imagine if this was heard above the ocean...
and I'm sure this is a trout too...

Whale sounds are completely different above water.

some parts of the roar resemble a whale, yes. I'll give you that. But that's probably because they used a sample of a whale for the monster roar. Chewbacca was made from a bear, dog, walrus and something else. They probably used many things, including whalesong, to make the roar.

It sounds extremely similar. I've always believed the monster was inspired by a whale. It's roar, at least.

Enough with the trouts,...Ok, you found something posted before, but that just shows that other people agree with this theory. and some people may not know about the old post, you must like taking time out to find things like that. ridiculous

The trout is a sign of nice/gentle reminder that you have not searched through the forum to post in the ALREADY EXISTING thread about your agreement with a particular theory that has been previously discussed.
If you would ever bother reading more than you post, you would see that. These folks are just trying to help with links to the previous discussion that you didn't
find
look for.
Try the Search function every once in a while. Doesn't cost extra.
