Also, heres a cap of the last fram of the "Ichi" video. Focus on the word "Sunday"...maybe when we'll get our next update?

has anyone seen his new Ichi video? My friend and I have been looking at it, and he's deduced that the picture the of the temple towards the beginning is most likely either:

the Edogawa Temple in Tokyo (Edogawa district)

or the Kunamoto Prefecture in the city of Kumamamoto in the Kyushu region

He is pretty confident it is the later of the two. Apparently it is a very famous temple, and its uppermost level is a fairly iconic image, much as it is viewed in the video.

Also, he pans in on sunday at the end. The Japanese above it indeed does say sunday (I double checked, never can be too sure Wink

)
But I believe that may be significant. He may be moving, killing, posting a video, or anything else this sunday.

If the Kumamamoto theory is correct, then it would make a lot of sense that he is at the Kumamamoto shopping arcade in the video "Look."

that's the arcade, looks very similar in architectural style. we may be getting close.

Hello all.
I've been lurking around for a while but first time to post.

I just figured where the castle is and also the small alley in the video.
The castle is called Aoba Castle, or Sendal castle.
Wikipedia entries in English and in Japanese.

The Japanese one has a picture just like the one in the video.

The alley is situated not far away from the castle.
I found it by looking up the restaurant at the end of the alley.

I hope this helps a bit.

Edit: The castle is located in the south east of the alley. On the map you can see the little castle symbol on top of the green patch over the river.

Sorry for the multiple posts, but I found what the video with lift was too.
It's at this library called Sendai Mediatheque.
Google map It's at the G point.
I even found a similar video of the lift in action on Youtube.

So I guess he is in Sendai, Japan. From the order of the videos, I think he went from the Sendai Station to the library, through the alley to the castle.
But that's only if he posted all the videos he has for this location already.

Does anyone would like to drop him a line about this?

I can't really say this will help, but the song choice was "3 Libras" by A Perfect Circle from the album "mer de noms". I'm trying to see if I can pick anything else, but occasionally I like to see if the music will provide additional clues.

The music providing extra clues might be an idea worth following up - so far they've been varying styles of music (I have no idea what the pieces have been, though I know one or two others have been identified already, earlier in this thread). I can't listen to the videos while I'm at work, but maybe someone could investigate a bit more and try to identify the other tracks that have been used so far.

Does the "3 Libras" song link to anything in the video? I wonder if each track refers to each video, or whether there might be something linking all the songs together. Or maybe they're all just random choices.

I tried creating a webpage with it and nothing showed up. It doesn't exist in plain text and I don't know how to use rich text to make a page. Maybe someone else with better web skills can try it.
