If you look in the recent posts area, the two most recent updates have no heading while the others do. Considering one of the posts definitely wasn't written by Randy but used his account, this lends credence to the idea that the new update isn't by Randy.
That... or they were in a hurry to post it and didn't worry about wasting the time to put a heading.
This is kind of a stretch though...

The first one was pretty frantic and nervous, but the recent one doesn't seem hugely anxious or hurried. Maybe they just couldn't be bothered to make a title, I guess.

It is possible that the station was just towed away.
Having no debris from a station would be highly unlikely (see unusual item on Scottish beach thread). There'd be thermos flasks, lifejackets, foam whatnots and other various items floating all over the place.
If it did become an underwater station shipping lanes would have to be informed - surely the PMs would be aware of this and place a clue or two about it in game.
I think it was towed away...why I don't know, but it seems the best fit for now.

if its an underwater station it whould implode, hence nothing left.

What I Think what ^ says

Why would it take the monster a MONTH to get to NYC?
Well here's my take on it:
He's wandering around nearby at the moment doing whatever an MGP would do underwater. He could be miles away, or he could still be where he's at. Maybe he's eating or tending to the Seabed Nectar or whatever it is down there or nearby.
One thing we do know is that on 1-18-07 he's in the NY harbor having followed a Tagruato oil tanker. I assume within the next few game weeks, Tagruato sends a tanker or an expedition to the site to see whats up. Maybe even a fleet of tankers and equpiment....MGP destroys them all but one, which steams at full speed toward NYC. MGP gives chase.
After reading all the posts, I have come up with this conclusion- MGP/Clover (I like the cast codename) wipes out Chuai and it implodes down. Clover is most likely under it (Because of theories of feeding seabed nectar or stuff like that)when he destroys it and peices fall on him (Imagine Looking Glass from LOST and that station on you). This angers him and it wounds him a little, slowing his speed and adaptability. And what makes him so slow (a month) to get to my home city? (guess where)
I'll tell you why: It doesn't need to. Yeah, I'm not joking. Why the hell would Clover all of a sudden go east to the most MAJOR CITY on the east coast? Here's my 2 bucks (I'm not poor, might as well donate to unfiction): MGP stays in his natural habitat, and since no one bothers him, he heals (...perhaps spontaneus regeneration... we are dealing with something taller than G-zill, and can withstand some missles.)
It isn't until the Taggy ship that comes to look around for Chuai on January 13-17 and it sends some subs to investigate. (Yes, yes, this idea has been mentioned, i'm not trouting...just too lazy to quote it... I will quote it, so don't bitch around..)CLover, now nearly healed, goes "WTF Mate"*
and then it follows it to NYC harbor.
Side Note: People say that PMs didn't leave a underwater clue. They kinda did on the Taggy home site, but it should be viewed as them constructing it submerged and secured to the ocean floor (floating drilling station?) and they won't go into this trouble of making a 'maybe' clue 2 weeks from the movie. So the bottom line is this: Chaui got blown. PMs won't make a pointless clue and TIDO is IG. OOG can't make sense if you look at the facts.

This theroy seems to make sense to me.
The sonar images were a way of showing TIDOwave where the chuai station is, but either TIDOwave didn't listen, or didn't get it.
or maybe they were taken at the same time?
like the little dot being TIDOwave's boat.
but i doubt the monster did anything to it, if they went there and he(she?) did destroy it, they would have seen tons of debris and a lot of oils spills and such.

Note it's the type used at the greatest depth:

You can't just build a tower over a mile tall out in the deep ocean.
Here's a good illustration:

Perhaps the fury of the beast was such that nothing large enough to stay afloat was left.
Or perhaps it happened long enough ago it all floated off/sank, and it has been a week or so at least.
But no oil spill, since that particular 'oil' platform didn't actually produce any oil. At least no spill larger than a Wesson bottle would make.

Unless Tidowave got there within 24 hours of Chuai going down or took the time to keep moving NE to try to find debris, they would never see any due to the current.

Is it just me, or is the TIDOWave blog page down this morning? I can get to the splash page with the animated hands, but the actual blog page never loads.

It loads after awhile but blank.
Either it's being updated or hacked.
I tried going directly to a blog post page too but no luck.

TIDOwave.com is coming up with no trouble now. At least for me.
