No Cloverfield in NY.
There is a street in CA named Cloverfield. The street sign was outside of JJ's window and that's how he came up with the name.

Cloverfield St Probably because Law and Order is a TV show about a fictitious
police department and they use fictitious addresses.

Cloverfield Road is located in Vally Stream, N.Y.
Valley Stream is a small Village in Nassau County (Long Island).
"Snapple" soft drinks were invented there in 1972.
Snapple = SLUSHO!

i was actually wondering if that was some clever viral marketing, since they said "cloverfield" like 4 times.

Could be Viral Marketing Considering Slusho has been product placed on other NBC shows (HEROES...AKA HOES)
