Happy New Years all.

I believe that story wise we are meant to lose. I think we should not work so adamantly to defy the PM Puzzles and answered should be able to be discussed freely here. The ones we send and the ones that are sent to us. No more of this secrecy. The PM has a story that he is going to stick to any way he can. If the answers are here and he wants the character to lose then he will ignore them. Everyone have a brownie. Brownie

 		Darren, a couple of thing here. First, I am good at the research thing, you know that. If you want I can help a bit there. My girlfriend is sick and pregnant so that is not a good combo so I can only do research whiles at work now. Or at least till the end of the week. Second, I am sure there are "free" message boards out there that could be used.

 		Thank God someone made a decision. I was worried I was going to have to come out of hiding for reasons other than to congratulate you all on what appears to successfully completed task! Wink

The PLAN
I asked SS about preparing for the PLAN and whether any more Demons have crossed over and here is his response.

Falthis, Bergeru and the soldiers will be easier to deal with when the time comes. I believe the final demon we would need would cross over on February 29th according to the time lines drawn up by Andras.

Anything you come up with please let me know and thank you again for seeing past all pettiness and recognizing the greater good in all of this chaos. Talk to you soon.


So it looks like we will be at this for a bit.

 		Since we're doing all this demon-related research, I thought I'd mention an interesting resource (one of my favorite online libraries and great way to waste a few hours reading instead of working...): the Cornell University Library Witchcraft Collection, which has scanned copies of books on witchcraft dating from the 1400's. There are several references to Abaddon and Andras there, but here are a few quotes (sorry in advance if this gets a bit long):

For Andras:

1. From The Discoverie of Witchcraft, Wherein the lewde dealing of witches and witchmongers is notablie detected, the knaverie of conjurors, the impietie of inchanters,the follie of soothsaiers, the impudent falsehood of cousenors, the infidelitie of atheists,the pestilent practises of Pythonists, the curiositie of figurecasters, the vanitie of dreamers, the begger lie art of Alcumystrie, The abomination of idolatrie, the horrible artof poisoning, the vertue and power of naturall magicke, and all the conveiances oflegierdemaine and juggling are deciphered: and many other things opened, which have long been hidden, howbeit verie necessarie to be known., by Reginald Scot, 1584:

2. There's also an interesting quote about Andras in Dr. John Dee's book, A True and Faithful Relation of What passed for many Yeers between Dr. JohnDee (A Mathematician of Great Fame in Q. Eliz. and King James their Reignes) and some spirits... Out of the original copy, written with Dr. Dees own hand, kept in to library of Sir Tho. Cotton. With a Preface confirming the Reality (as to the Point of Spirits) of ThisRelation: and shewing the several good Uses that a Sober Christian may make of All. ByMeric Causaubon, D. D. It seems to maybe be a conversation about (or possibly with?) Andras, which you can read here.


For Abaddon: There were several references to Abaddon in the search, but here are a few of the ones that seemed interesting:

1. From Pandaemonium, or, The devil's cloyster : being a further blow to modernsadduceism, proving the existence of witches and spirits, in a discourse deduced from thefall of the angels, the propagation of Satans kingdom before the flood, the idolatry of the ages after greatly advancing diabolical confederacies, with an account of the lives andtransactions of several notorious witches : also, a collection of several authentickrelations of strange apparitions of dæmons and spectres, and fascinations of witches, never before printed., by Richard Bovet, 1684:

There's several other references in the library, but I figure for space's sake, you guys can go look at them yourselves. Smile I sent the references to Bobby as well. Oh, and since we're listing references, I guess I might as well add the usual wikipedia ones: Andras, Abaddon (and also wikipedia.org/wiki/Abaddon_(demon)), which are always handy to have around. Hopefully all this turns out to be useful somehow!

I do not have a definite plan at this time, but I am working one out and will let you and ALL of my friends know of it when the time is right.


So what do you all think? Do we know this is Nathan? Can we trust Canan or do we side with Bobby (Michael). Why doesn't Canan want Bobby to know about him?

I found it hard to maintain my "neutrality" in the face of his anger. He tried to make me tell him the answer via force. We are far away from people, but would hardly want all the workers on Site holding such power over him. He forfeited instead and is back in his quarters licking his wounds. Before he left he said "Your loyalties become transparent quickly Singer. Who do you serve?" I, as you all may well know, could not answer this question with a lie and instead held my tongue. After a long hard look at me Falthis left, but I fear things may get worse around here very quickly. I will handle things here, as for now spread the word that Falthis's challenge has been won and Metatron is safe!
