[CONTEST] Myspace Themes [WINNER ANNOUNCED] Create a Cloverfield Themed Myspace, Win Slusho Prize. Let's see who can come up with the best myspace theme that has something to do with this movie. It can be Cloverfield, Slusho, Tagruato, T.I.D.O., or even Parraffun themed. post theme on here and your myspace so we can choose. The winner will receive their choice of Slusho merchandise. I will personally buy it for them. Also everyone contribute pictures that you want to be potentially used for the themes. They have to be related to the movie. Have fun and may the best one win. I want all that anyone can make, even if you think it is awful. Lets just get as many as possible. My incredibly cheap and sloppily made website is up and running.
Contest will officially end 01-04-08, and the winner will be chosen by 01-08-08 and that same day i will order the prize and it should get to the winner before 1-18-08.
[EDIT] De-stickied to clean up the sticky section a little --Gisk

odd silence there I think you may have just caught most people off guard here.
Thanks that sounds like and awsome opportunity to actually win slusho stuffs!
Going out of pocket to run your own contest is just plain selfless and I think that may be throwing everyone for a loop
I wish I could do one, but most of my surfing is at work, and myspace is highly frowned apon.

Oh, thanks, looks interesting! But I want at the moment stay a little bit IG, waiting for some answers from Rob. He'll wonder if he'll see strange design on my MySpace about any monster or stuff
Perhaps, a little bit later

Caution to those using Myspace Profile Editor to create your profile...
I realized this a little while ago, but
The Myspace Profile Editor edits the actual template used to create your profile. Normally you would simply paste some code to overwrite the standard Myspace Template. This method is common, but can be messy. The benefit to us though is in your source code, you can obviously see this pasted code, so it's fairly easy to steal profiles.
I specifically used the profile editor to make it harder to steal mine, but now it's hard to re-create it... (well not really, its just tedious)
SO
advice to those creating myspace profiles:
if you want to be able to enter your profile code, avoid using the Myspace Profile Editer (even though it will be easier to make your profile)... write it from scratch, or use the generators you can find online...

I know that it'd be a step away from an actual theme, and it'd also add to the difficulty of judging, but those of us with MySpace Music pages can't add themes. For that reason, how about a Cloverfield-inspired song as an alternative? It's just that some of us have our talents in areas other than the visual, and your taste in music says just as much about you as does your taste in backgrounds! Of course, I'd probably do this regardless of whether or not I'm in a contest. Good luck, ye brave artistic souls.

I've made one for bands ... its just harder... (and it's easy to screw up later, as you can see from her's... dammit)
edit:
damn monique... she must have tried to modify things herself...
oh well, I disown the code, but I take credit for the graphics... lol
