[SPEC] Thought - Two monsters Theory The more I read the June 2nd Targauto news letter about the LL baseball game, i.e. this line. "Lions pitcher Masakuzo Endo (8-0) had nine strike outs and thirteen hit batsman. Nishio coach Geoff Jingle was forced to forfeit after he looked to his bench and found no Dragons brave enough to step to the plate." I have had this thought, that perhaps there are two creatures. One "Evil" and one "Good".
On another message board I visit, one of the members there got to see Cloverfield about 1100 EST. He is not employed by the makers of the film themselves, but has a job in distribution. Now this board (the one I visit) has little to no knowledge of the movie, much less this place or the ARG. He would say very little about the film, but when I told him my theory, he said "no comment", with a bit of a smile.
I know I am new here, please be kind. I am so new to the ARG thing, Cloverfield being my first look-see into this whole deal. I just think, the amount of secrecy behind this amounts to huge twist to this movie.
Sorry guys if the post is messed up, like I said this a new thing for me, just thought I would contribute what I could. And yes, I searched, so save it.

It's a reasonable theory, but it doesn't explain so many things. Besides, that line you keep looking at about the baseball team just suggests Slusho and DSI induce violence and aggressiveness. Nothing more. And your friend on the forum appears to be stringing you along needlessly.
Still, keep your contributions rolling, you sound like a good guy. Not a bloody troll.
I hope. I've been wrong before (damn you, Slushohappy, damn you to hell!).

No guys, certainly not a troll. It is actually just a car forum with a kinda "anything" goes type section. I just don't want to feel too dumb here, because you guys know how this stuff works much better than I. The guy is a good guy, with no real interest in the movie, more just his job. Perhaps he just mixed up, my "two" monsters theory. Anyway, thanks for the welcome guys!
Oh yeh, this is what he posted after seeing the movie this A.M. Ok, here is an update, What I can say about the movie is the pictures posted here are wrong. The movie does have an ending, it doesnt stop in the middle and leave you hanging ala Lost style. The music in the movie is awesome, its nice to see a mainstream moive paying attention to music. The movie was entertaining all the way through. Oh yeah, Hot chick in it!
Beyond that, I cannot say to much more about it. There should be some previews of it the night before it opens, beyond that, opening
I know it's not much, but when I know he saw ACTUALLY saw it. Thats hard to come by these days.

Thanks for talking yourself (or your source, I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt) out of any shred of truth. There will be no music to this film. Someone is full of a whole lotta

We do though don't we?
The interview with the director says something about not having any music. Just sounds or something?

quote from the article:
Quote:
The filmmakers coaxed Paramount into letting them use no-name actors who could improvise, low-key natural night light, herky-jerky HandyCams (as opposed to SteadiCams, which can be artificially jerked around later; "People would smell that in a second," says Reeves), and no musical score at all -- just source music and well-orchestrated ambient sound.
Your boy that says he saw the movie is full of Bull Shite

two monsters, music? I love it when people that don't know what they are talking about
use absolute terms like never and always. The whole point to this ARG or ARE or whatever is that NOBODY KNOWS what this movie
is about. It is highly likey that 0% of what we talk about here
is in the movie. Don't say there's only one monster, you simply have no facts to back that up. Music, who the hell cares? It will be scarier if there are no muscial "cues" to when something is about to happen anyway.
