 		Talk about another major development... some fantastic stuff... really getting us further into the story with such dramatic events and again, a realistic depiction utilising foreign news (I wouldn't be surprised if the production sent out the the three sections of footage, along with a narrative for the companies to use as a guideline to then create their fake newscasts, if the languages used in the news casts are authentic then it's a nice use of foreign production companies in this campaign. It'd also allow for a nice bit of variety in the reports like you see for real over different news networks).

Indeed... I like to think I don't say 'WTF' out loud very often for something I see on the net, unless it's really screwed up, but that was so perfectly unexpected and out of left field it deserved to have that remark. Well played on their part to elicit such responses from us for a fictional event. Smile

This has been a great development, things were coming together with Rob's recent MySpace report, but now the series of events are in full motion and it's officially begun, the monster is now on it's way to Manhattan... and it would appear this puts to rest the theory that it was being transported in the Tagruato tanker.

I hope so as well, it'd be nice to see these in non-YouTube/Internet quality and it'd be a nice bonus for those who weren't a part of the online campaign. It'd be nice to have all of the news casts, the 'Cloverfield Diaries of Jamie Lascano' and the television spots as special features.

I'm not so sure of that... I admit I find it strange they happened to be there when it went off, I believe for the moment they're people who escaped from the rig who are now watching events unfold from what they perceive to be a safe distance.


As for the Tagruato guys looking like terrorists... nobody here ever see the SAS or Delta Force? Special Ops standard gear, that. Wink

Look under the 20h Info logo in the lower left hand corner of the screen. It says 07 Jan 08!
Here in upstate NY it's 06 Jan 08...

That's why i think it's Teddy in the French video. JamieSlut sees that and freaks, and posts a video. And during the video, Tag Ninjas bust in and drag her ass out.

I wouldn't expect it until after the English version of the story breaks, Jamie's not the most wordly person out there.

I was thinking about DVD extras earlier too, I would expect some of this stuff to make the cut, maybe as easter eggs or some such.

Interesting. When I found the video I noticed that it was marked as "private" and not open for business when you clicked it...it only worked from that one site. Maybe we weren't meant to see it until tomorrow?
