I think this is as close to a video of MGP himself we are going to get.

I mean, the only other way that we would get a video is if someone snaps it on its way to NYC.... and if they knew it was on its way to NYC then it would have been evacuated or something.

We have some tenticle evidence and other little tidbits that I am sure will pop up with each news clipping that is found.

I hinted at this before but this is my theory. I believe that there are more than one MGP, I also think that the stations are actually holding pens for MGP's,and that our MGP is trying to cut across the country to get to his other buddies/mates at the other stations. New York just happens to be in his way. And the lil creatures I think were weird experiments that hopped aboard MGP while Chuai was going down and hitched a ride to dry land. And as for the debris flying again, maybe he does have multiple blowholes that he can swallow stuff and launch it out at great speeds. but who knows?

what if the first time they even get mention of this is during the party? but that would be a massive delay in information on part of the news.

It occurred to me that, perhaps, these videos are the actual beginning of the movie. Rather than just show the footage from HUD's camera, maybe they actually show footage from several cameras relevant to the case. The movie would, in effect, be a reel put together by the government documenting the attack and any events pertinent to it.

These videos would be a quick and intriguing way to provide some backstory to the great unwashed masses who will arrive in the theaters not knowing the difference between an ARG and an aardvark. If I'm someone who just showed up without having ever even heard of any of the online content, then I'm gonna be seriously puzzled as to why a monster shows up out of nowhere to rip NYC a new one. If the movie starts with these videos (or at least, the eventual English language one), then I at least have a clue that something started out in the Atlantic leading up to what we see from HUD's footage.

Besides, that looks like a somewhat expensive piece of CGI work to only use as part of an online viral campaign.

I haven't read through this thread yet, but I just gotta say- watching the Chuai Station fall apart made me spasm... in my pants.
