Geez! I take one day off for traveling and Dan comes out of the nowhere to talk finally... gah you guys and your timing! Of course now I have to sit and wait for answers. But good job on the codes and questions!

Haha, I know what you mean, nextday. Also, natas gave me and I think Sylvia(?) the Dan Bullerman phone number that Steve's brother had been using. Should I try and get in touch that way? I'm not sure if that would be beneficial or what. And Doug, have you heard back from DB yet? I'm really anxious for a reply.

That seems to be the case. And we're not supposed to tell Jeff, as per Dan Bullerman's instructions. I really want to tell Jeff, but it seems to be in his (and our) best interests to just go along with it? Any other specs?

I though he would e-mail me back, I refreshed my inbox every half hour today Anyways, my random guesses at Jeff's behaver seem to be consistent with the answers to my questions. Psychosis, no longer able to discern this world from the other, are (somewhat) consistent with schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders such as that. However, by "dark mater" I think they are referring to the dead (which could explain Steve). On a side note, is UnFiction lagging for anyone else? The power went out for 2 hours while I was online today, and when it came on this site seems laggy.

I had a feeling his answer might be kind of vague as to what is going on. They reveal what they want to when they want to. This seems to be a strange mix of psychosis and the paranormal.

He may have said not to tell Jeff, but he also left that decision up to us. I say, for now, not to.

I think it's definitely worth learning about JASON some more, but it seems unlikely that they would post a project on their website that "cast aside...as someone who has lost their grip". This kind of project would probably be far too secretive for that. But it might help to see if there are any companies or places that may have connection to this on their website.

I'd looked a bit around at some of the JASON stuff a while ago. I was curious to see if they list members but they don't, although now that we know these two are in fact in it, it's sort of redundant. And other than this it seems pretty normal as far as secret organizations go; a bunch of scientists working on projects for the government. Looking at the projects they have on their website released to the public, they seem pretty irrelevant to our storyline. The most connected one is the one titled "Pit Lifetime", about the radioactive decay of Plutonium.

It's interesting how it's named after a Greek myth, though. I wonder if this will play out?

Based on what they do, I find it interesting that Dan would mention "dark matter" in a context so far away from what it really refers to, unless this has a connection with modern physics. He IS pretty vague about it, but there are no articles connecting the study of dark matter to JASON's work.

Anyway, this looks like one of those things where we have to figure out who is the "good guy" and who is the "bad guy". We should definitely wait to find out more but I am guessing that a decision like this may be presented to us in the future.

And yeah doug, unfiction is lagging for me too.

I think it's time now to reconnect with Jeff and tell him to go to the Oak Hill Cemetery. He should be on the lookout for any unusual graves like "Steven Chalmers", new messages, and of course for a pill.
