 		A collections of thoughts and muses on the videos

Guy on the helicopter
-lives
-Definatly tarugato
-First angle through the front of the helicopter, shows that its likely on its way to the rig.
-Valuble cargo/info in that suitcase.
-Flies around to watch the attack
-Filming starts Just after MGP dives under, Evidence is the wake he left and the gunshots in that general area


Guy with "cameraphone"
- probably dies
- Tidowave?, They had to have some presence
- Data had to be saved since the phone wouldnt have a signal
- Phone recovered by tagruato while they were cleaning up the debris/evidence. waterdamage must have been minimal.
-same side as ninja, wouldnt be allowed on the boat otherwise, although tido might let a worker on...

Videos leaked
-at the same time
-Whistleblower must done it
-Tagruato captured both

Ninjas
- Why are they masked on their own rig?
-Tido or tagruato?
- What sort of gun is that? would tido use guns

Oil rig
-wasn't expecting the attack, or the vip/whatever was in that suitcase wouldn't be on his way
-unless the suitcase is a MGP repellent
-Would likely have been used in new york if it was, so probably not

 		the boat is too small to be seen in the footage other than a spec and not the large lump. The lump is the size of a room, based on the comparison to the small structures on the rig.

It's safe to assume that there's nothing you can see in the videos that show even a portion of MGP... If JJ wanted us too, (Or the PMs) he would make the camera zoom in a little. He likes tracking websites down and finding not-so-obvious-but-not-so-difficult-to-see clips that get people talking without a program to 'infrared' or some crap like that.

I think the black spot's the shadow of the station. If it's moving, it either
1. An error on thier part
2. Youtube's worldwide quality
3. The same thing with "Demon in the hair" and "Knob that moved in the last Jamie vid"

Lay off. Basically, If it's black, it's black. ITS NOT MGP, which is certainly greenish. AND the things that pop out of the water?
Debris.
You can clearly see it's metal as soon as the it's about to crash into the boat. I'm not going to even show a pic- that's too much trouble for this.

As the quoted above says, OMG ITS MGP. Now what? Even if it IS MGP, nothing's going to change. Unless you magically find an e-mail or website in the black shape, what's that going to do for the ARG?Sorry for the harsh words, but this is what we have to do now-

Find out where the videos came from, and who
THEN we can argue if it's black or not.

Have you ever watched the image of a surfer getting attacked by a great white? or the image of a whale under under the surface of the water...

It's black. Anything under the surface of the water is going to come out black- unless its straight-up white or a really light color. But MGP is a dark green.

So that's not proof enough that it's not the monster.

Again, I press the issue of detail... with all the flaws that we can find in the CGI in this video, why would they add such a minor detail such as debris. And how could it be a shadow if there is no sunlight? And the object is just too big to be the rescue boat.

We all see the object. There is no doubt about that... So, there is a reason for it.


Why would they add fuel tanks, pipes, railings, etc to the model of the platform in Deep Blue Sea? Or the back seat falling off the floor of the Explorer in Jurassic Park? Or all the small debris in the distance in any movie that features large scale destruction? The same reason, to make it REAL. JJ Abrams isn't going to slack off just because this is the ARG. Details are a necessary part of modeling something. If you did any 3d modeling and animation or have taken a college course on it (such as I have) you would know that.

 		So, let's discuss something meaningful.

They could not have only had one little rubber raft to evacuate 300+ people. What's so important about the people in that boat? Why are they the only ones to get off?

And why didn't anyone else evacuate. Was it just too fast for anyone else to get to a bout?

Considering the views, and the notable location of the helipad in each, and overall position of the station I think I can say that the object is in fact the boat.

Can we all rest easily now?

 		Alright, I've finished the black stuff problem. Now to the primary mystery: What's that thing being drifted off to the right?? (Don't say MGP)

I heard it was debris, or a rescue boat. Then again, how the hell does 355 people get off a station with only two seen boats and no deaths???

 		for the last time....what ever it is in the water, it IS NOT the boat!! What ever THAT is, it would be atleast 5 times bigger than the puny little rescue boat! I say no more talk about black dots till we find the source of the videos once and for all!

So where is the boat coming from? I don't see any legs of the station, and there's only one corner that is fully sunken when the object moves away from the station.

As to concerns of scale, between this being quick and cheaper CGI and that a boat's wake and froth tend to exaggerate it's appearance of size on the water we could easily have ourselves a nice little escape boat leaving at upper right.

 		Wow...ok...I REALLY need to check this site more often! Mad

Anyway, I just wanted to say how really amazing this all is and how exciting it is to read everyone's ideas, which were a lot like my own! (too bad i was late lol). But this sure is a great way to keep people hooked! lol

I do have one question, maybe i missed it somewhere on these 30-some pages, but does anyone know if these were actually seen on TV or were they direct to youtube? Because if they were shown on TV, that would have been cool to see! Very Happy
