Those reporters are different, for the people talking about that earlier fake news report. There is an obvious difference in the two reports too. Once is a bad but professional looking report. The older one is just plain bad (college material). I know - I studied journalism and have tapes of myself looking like that reporter. It's why I don't work on TV.

The only reason people believe the US one is phony is because its in English, and as such is easier to look at it as fake. But it is highly unlikely that its fake.

The english one is just as likely to be fake as the others. There isnt really any evidence to show that it is fake, other than a few people saying "Oh, it looks fake...because..because...I think it looks fake"

Honestly look at her clothes. it's practically a hobo suit.
What reporter would wear such ill fitting cheap clothes?
Especially in Norwalk! Fairfield county is the richest county in the USA ya know?
Plus look at the room she does the interview in and later does her little speech with the report. It's a real room, not a set, why?
Plus there are loose pictures leaning against the wall on the floor.
Would even a Bumbkinville new station do this bad a job?

If I got anything from the English version, it was from the interview with the EndOil spokesperson. I found her discussion of ingested toxins affecting the food chain at all levels rather compelling. Let's say the seabed nectar is some sort of organism (at least at a cellular level) that is being exposed to some form of toxin from Tag. That toxin infects the nectar which goes into whatever eats it. Whatever MGP is, maybe it started as something benign (whale, crab, squid, Cthulhu - pick your poison), it ate some tainted nectar, and the toxin mutated it to his/her present form/size. This would also travel up the food chain from the nectar to the Slusho! to the good people who can't drink just six. They get a little more than a tummy-ache from their Slusho! binge and before you know it, you get your mini-MGPs.
It's yet another lame theory in a long line of theories already put forth. But I just find it odd that of what was probably a far lengthier segment about environmental impact, PM decided to use this part about the food chain contamination. Furthermore, they saved it for the English version to insure that we all got it.

On a side-note, I'm hoping this hasn't already been said because I'm the king of trout around here it seems. But when I started writing this, I had read ALL 51 pages of this thread that were currently available and saw nothing on this line of discussion. That's right! ALL 51 PAGES. I've been reading non-stop for 2 hours.
