Why do people keep talking about her clothes? She's wearing a (possibly leather) jacket and a scarf. Both are clean and well presented. It is cold outside which means the clothing would make sense. She is dressed perfectly normally for a reporter.

Secondly all videos seems to concentrate on what would be most important. I.E, the Russians talk about how many russian workers were on chuai and how many platforms are on their territory. The Germans concentrate on the (german?) engineer. French concentrate on the french mother. And the english concentrate on oil, which is a panic button for many americans, especially when there is a threat of the oil damaging americas coast.

All it is, is a oil platform which collapsed, with very little casualties, this has about the same level of importance as a oil tanker spill. This is unlikely to get much coverage in america and as such is likely to be reported for a brief section and not waste studio time.

Also, there are endoil posters in the background.


I don't think about oil damaging the coast, I think about how much gas is going to cost next time I goto the gas station Very Happy[/b]

What a load of crap. An oil rig suddenly getting destroyed is new anywhere, even in America. Possible hundreds hurt or injured a fluff piece.
Give me a break.
No one suggested they would bring Dan Rather out of retirement to cover it just not send the cleaning lady.

I agree, but this is some late night roving reporter they've sent out to interview an unconnected anti oil group, not someone sent to Tagruato's offices, or the middle of the atlantic.

I must say, the Spanish announcer has the biggest Spaniard accent I've heard in a long time. And I'm *from* Spain.

Especially in Norwalk! Fairfield county is the richest county in the USA ya know?
Plus look at the room she does the interview in and later does her little speech with the report. It's a real room, not a set, why?

You do watch American news? This is exactly what it would be: a fluff piece, with the most junior reporter in the worst clothes. They're not going to send the news anchor out to talk to one enviro-nut in her office, They're going to send this woman.

This cannot be stressed enough. It's a local news station, the equivalent to what would be a public news station, not one of the major networks and not a national syndicate!
Apparently, what we have here is a failure to communicate.

 		Hope this makes it clearer, and I'd say IG as a result. This is a comparison of the fly-in for the American and French reports. Both use the same one as I stated before. This shows the final zoom of the fly-in for each. The same to my eye, with the French being obscured by the black inset. Same reasoning as the shots of the Tag ninja earlier - the American one shows footage from a previous report, but is using the original material, not simply cropping from the French.

Damn surgeries are too expensive.

That exactly why I say it's a fake. Is this is from PM why is this the only one to reuse graphics from one of the other fake newscasts?
There are ways to wipe tags if you have the right software. You don't have to crop.
