What's with the image of the oil tanker at the end of that new clip?

It's mentioned in the first Japanese one too.

I'm not inclined ot sift through 60+ pages of comments, and I'm sure with that many, there's been a translation of the French video, but if there hasn't been by chance, I'd be happy to translate it; I'm fluent in French. I like the mention of Tido... interesting. The soldiers with Tag logos on their shoulder... and the debris exploding out of the ocean. Cool.

Well, there, I found something. I guess it's time for hell to freeze over now. lol
I just want it on my record that my passing along of the video did not include either the starting of a new topic or the phrase "FOUND SOMETHING, SUCKERS!!" (or any variation of that). Wink

Seriously, if you want complete and total honesty, which is the only way I know how to be, you have to put myself in my position. I've been into this whole experience since July.

And at one point and time I was seriously crapping all over the whole concept because nothing came out. And when something finally happened it was so little and sketchy it left way too much to desire.

After 6 months of being with this, I know I can decipher this stuff. And most people here can. I'm not trying to be a dick to you, I swear, but it's like everytime we get something new people just want to dismiss it. Then I have to second guess how I feel about it, and that just takes away from it all.

Not that I know more than anyone here, or are better it's just at this point I've seen so much gamejacking, fraud, fake, inaccurate, spoof, nonsense I can tell what's "genuine"

The details were next to nil for months, now we're getting new things every other minute. That is exciting to me. And the one thing that I've wanted to come back in this all is the fun of discovering it.

The constant "that's fake, oog, bogus" just ruins it to a degree. So I'm not trying to be an ass, but after 6 months of skepticism, even from myself I want the floodgates open and for all of us to dig in to this.

Same poster has 2nd part of the Korean video and it has more footage of inside Chuai, slightly.

I wonder if this is official? Cause it seems a bit unofficial, if you read the guys comments about it on the YouTube page...it's almost as if he doesn't know a thing about this movie, and the ARE, and just found the vid of the collapsing oil tanker, and then realized "OH shit...there were possibly some of my people aboard!!" as if it's a real life happening. The only thing I noticed new was the guys face in the helicopter blurred. Can that've been done independent of initial editing of this clip(s)???

Talk about Viral!!!!!

i know its been said (but few are going back to the first pages)

the CG in these videos are horrible, though I'm sure it's not meant to be seen by a lot of people...
and I'm not expecting perfect sound, but when the debris is flying out of the water, its a really bad sound effect (and delayed)

... I hope the movie isnt like this (because I was horribly disappointed with I Am Legend's CG work...)

Is anyone here a member of Youtube?
The guy that posted those says he will translate the Korean if asked.
Could some one write him please?

Meh, I like the video footage of Chuai, had me on the edge of my seat, as did I Am Legend. Everyone's a critic these days. Wink

As I've said before, if the trailer footage is anything to go by, there's nothing to worry about.

The debris part is the worst bit for me, the rest looks good enough, and yeah, the whoosh sound seems to be played from a single channel sampler, cutting off the previous sound each time it plays. Not saying that's what they've done, but it does remind me of a DJ hammering a sound effect button!

At first I just thought someone chopped up the 1st Japanese one and added subtitles, maybe a Korean fan. But the 2nd vid has new stuff inside Chuai for sure. The face blurring could be done independently easily.

Some of the footage in this Korean overlay of the Japanese broadcast is new. I wonder where that other Japanese footage came from? Either we haven't found the full original Japanese broadcast or another variant of it, or this is an IG variant.

Someone already said this but these videos could end up on the Cloverfield DVD as extras. and maybe they will improve the effects?
