Poetry [potentially spoiling]
Quote:
[Full Poem, Untitled]
victims aren't we all
no hope we share
twice damned
voicing words not my own
between these worlds
against the broken
shards of empty dreams
all adrift through
rivers of time
i seek a light a
sign to guide me home a
beacon in the dark
at last i think excitedly
theres nothing after life
i hail the void of death
[Scrap #1]
they say i'm not real
they say they're the only ones
I think this is death
[Scrap #2]
Bed of Straw
I eat Bugs
Air is Damp
Water Brown
Chains I Wear
Sometimes Caged
Plunged in Ice
My Anger
Has Dissolved
All that's Left
Nothingness
[Scrap #3]
release
i pray
entomb
my fear
escape
evade
i died

The pictures at the left (under) on http://www.deadpoems.com/index-3.html are familiar. The text along with it suggest answers will be in the book. Can this be a very nice marketing campaign for a poem-book?

Doubtful.
The poetry is garbage. I'd hope no one would publish it, much less market it.

Yeah, I'll back you on that one However they are referring clearly that answers will be in the book and that book will be available the 17th of august. I just hope we don't have to buy the book
It would be a clever way to fund the game.

It really would be.
Of course, in all likelyhood one of us would buy the book and scan the pages.

Let's preface this thread with the information that these are scraps of poems from Ann Starling, a former CMH patient (and grandmother of the publisher of the book).
Many of the photos can also be found at the CMH site. Might be some from the other (out of game) sites with photos of the hospital (haven't compared them yet).

One thing I saw on the site,
This could be a browser bug, a problem with the site's flash, or some kind of puzzle so:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There are 5 red "C"s that show up when you mouse over the dark blotch in the top left of the website.

We found those last night - they are 'hidden' links to the different pages (i.e. index-1, index-2, etc). Try clicking on them. We're not sure why they are there since the links are also on the pictures at the bottom of the home page. When we found the site last night, we noticed things and discussed them, then pages were not available and reappeared with new information (i.e. webmaster address was NOT there the first time we found the site).

Ann Starling I haven't noticed it posted anywhere so I might as well post it here. I'd say it's safe to assume from the info on the dead poems site that Ann Starling is the same young girl from the story on the CMH site involving the disappearance of an attendant working at the hospital. http://www.cambridgementalhospital.com/stories2.html
