Now, riddle me this:

Is the Tanker in the news report the same tanker in NY harbor, or a different one?

Who can do screen caps for similarity check? I know all big oil tankers look pretty much the same, but there might be something.

Oh and I'm sure this was all discussed a while ago, but shut up I just got here.

are you suggesting that if Paramount did indeed plant those videos that "that particular line" from the reporter was "our que" to the hint of where to search next??

I hate how she used the word "intense speculation" instead of just "speculation". It's like she's trying to tell us something but she's not.

She's saying

"Speculate HARDER, dummies!"

Here, I'll try.

....mmmmmmmmmmfffffhppphphphhphhfffffmfmmmmmmfmfmmphphphphhhmfmfmmmfmmm...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Aha! I gots it.

MGP eats the station and his tummy gets so bloated that he esplodes and pieces of him goes everywhere.

Isn't it funny how they say that the dark spot under the station is oil and nobody on the forums has noticed it? I'm not saying this is important or anything just interesting. We've all noticed humps and tentacles.

We noticed. we just didn't talk about it much, cause we already know it's not oil. The media is unimformed. Imagine that.

What I meant was BEFORE that video nobody said anything about it (to my knowledge).

December "Tip for the Field"

Many of you have written in and complained that when you get into a demonstration situation and it goes array, you often find yourself alone in a jail cell for hours or trapped outdoors with inadequate food, clothing, or hygiene options.

To address this need, I've created a "Survival Kit" of essential items to take with you to any gathering, should you be captured or forced to flee society for several days.

1. "Warm towel"
2. Dried fruit
3. Small comb
4. Jerky
5. Flare gun
6. Swiss Army Knife
7. Compass

I've been making pre-packaged "Survival Kits" of my own for distribution at Tidowave rallies. $30 per set. Please contact me on my cell for purchase.

You know all these items would come in very handy in a sea disaster more than a "jail cell" or "trapped outdoors". Either this was damn prescient or the "event" really was intended to damage the station some how.
I don't see how this ties to the "Janice" post maybe but it does?

I think those items have equal usefulness on dry land too (some of them have no usefulness in any survival situation).

MGP finds Chuai distasteful to his palette.

The one in the News Report doesn't have the Tag logo on the deck, I'm pretty sure that the one from the trailers had it on there. I remember someone posted a pic of it around here somewhere Ill try and find it.

Oh, we're speculating as hard as we can. It's just in this ARG, it's virtually impossible to call anything concrete. Just look how long for us to decide that tidowave was 100% definitely ig.

I think they made SURE to mention TIDOwave in these videos because we just weren't getting it.

Is there something else in these vids that we weren't getting?

In the Name of the Game
I just read this whole forum front to back. Page 1 to Now.

And I have to say, it's gotta be some of the best time spent at work on a slow day ever.

I don't know why people complain so hard about wild speculations. I think it's fun. Everyone keeps going on and on about how there haven't been any clues discovered and the time spent has largely been used for said wild speculations and accusations. I have the feeling that there aren't going to be too many more sites so stressing over the phantom image in the mirror relayed through an infra-red spectro anagram isn't going to lead to the clue that will reveal... uh... what exactly? I thought the point of this was to string us along and keep us interested without spoiling too much for the movie. I think it's largely an information hunt. So, we'll be better informed when watching the movie than those who aren't. I've heard tale of all these clues and sites and such simply being used to provide greater background. So why not speculate? We're piecing together the puzzle to an image that is impossible to fathom simply because there is nothing to base a premise of the image on. So as the imaginative lot we are we fill in the gaps every possible way we can. I think that's the overall intent: to lead us on until the main event.

So in the meantime, why fight? Isn't the whole point of this to voice our ideas and figure out if they correlate with others?

All that being said, I really can't find a single stone that hasn't been overturned. And I don't think the recent surge of videos was handed to us because we were too incompetent to figure out how to access them. If anything it's the opposite. But I think they were revealed to us because it was TIME for them to be revealed...

Someone speculated earlier that perhaps MGP has multiple blow holes (like a whale) that he shoots stuff out of after he eats it. That could also explain the explosion in the city, MGP could have eaten something and then the military tried to blow him up with a bomb right when MGP was shooting stuff out his blow holes.

Gotta say, I really agree with this. This whole experience is about exposition. There's only been a few clues which led to discoveries. I think it's pretty cool that we get to see that the monster's first appearance/effect is NOT New York City, but actually out in the middle of the Atlantic at Chuai Station.

Not a fan of the blowholes. More of a fan of the frequency produced by it's roar causing a shockwave.

Would explain the explosion being in mid-town before the SOL's head comes in. He roared at the city while in the harbor, then swiped Liberty's head off on his way to shore.
