It's a casual game that just happens to add additional content on a regular basis. It's not really much different than what you'd find on sites like Jay Is Games, your favorite console, or even the Timewasters section of this board. Just because the advertising to get you to the game is a little funky in the form of the billboards, doesn't mean that it automagically gets put into the realm of ARGs.

 		I'm also getting a weird unread email, which I suspect may be due to the fact that I haven't read this email with the numbers in it. However, when I tried to go to Sam's laptop and check email, everything had been wiped clean and there are 0 emails total and 0 emails new. Strange bit is that now the layout on the progress is broken:

What do they mean?

Current teory is that they are the latitude of where the island is ( -11.1784 passes right to the sunda trench)

 		Yeah. I got all of my emails to work. Remember you can scroll up/down the email list. What is the "activity" in chapter 1? I still havent completed it?

 		The maxwell compass
Someone said the reason the maxwell compass has east and west switched is that it is a astronomical compass. Someone also mentioned that the snake's head is diferent from the one in the original design found in some webpages.
Well there is a snake constelation , so i was wandering, should we look for something in the head area off the snake constalation? I tried to look for a star called IC 815 ( like I see 815) in the stars that form the head off the snake constelation and didn't find any, but maybe it's something else i didn't think off.

 		Sun and Jin photo
I had another look at the photos on the black note book and i notisted something strange. All the photos have very good quality except for Sun's and Jin's. If you look closely at they're photos you see there all "squared" ( notisced the area around jin's chin or that line that cut's true Sun's face.
Someone just happened to talk to me today about some program you can use on photos to reveal a hidden message hidden behind the photo.
I wandered can these photos have hidden messages under them?
And there's off course those numbers that show under Sun's photo. Someone said they're just polaroid numbers, but i thought the numbers on a polaroid were on the back off the photograph ( never used one , so i don't know), so why are they in the front, and why only in sun's photo?

i disagree
I disagree that Sun and Jin's photos have any difference in overall quality compared to the other photos in the manifest- they aren't the only ones that are supposed to mimic polaroids, Sayid's does as well, and there are stray marks on all the photos as though they are meant to look like they have been crumpled in someone's pocket for months, like faux beat up. But I don't see any notable, appreciable difference in photo quality, sorry.

Well, my e-mails finally magically appeared. Don't know what happened, but they are all back to normal now and I am up to date.

I was trying to find something on "blackrock" like they suggested; found a few things on google, but don't know if they apply to the game or not.

That's not what I mean. Yes, all the photos have bends and rips, but if you look at sun and jin's photo really close ( like with your nose actully toutching the screen) you see there photos have squares, like the tipe you get in a video with very poor quality, or those square gitches in Sam's video diary.
Yes Sayid's photo is a polaroid too, but it doesn't have numbers in it, like sun's.
Can someone tell me if serial numbers on polaroid photos are in the front or on the back off the photo?

I read somewere that during the time the find 815 was down so were the flyoceanicair and the maxwell group sites. I wondered if maybe they had been updated too. I tried the maxwell link, and what do you know the page has complitely changed, I looks like a normal company website now ( or i got the website wrong, but i did use the link i found here in the forum, so i don't think so), someone check it out there have to be clues there. There's at least a contact us section with an email and a phone number.

 		I haven't been able to load this site since yesterday. It was crashed for hours after it updated, today at work it was loading "chapter one" in the title bar but nothing was coming up, and now the find815.com website stays white and doesn't load.

God, this game is really being horrible. Is it Firefox? What the heck is going on? Am I the only one this is happening to, do I need to clear my cache or something?

It's not firefox. I use explorer and it happened to me too. I finally got in a few minutes ago. One time, instead of the white screen, I finally got a black one (i had to close the window completely and reopen it). But, still, i waited for a few minutes, and nothing loaded. I got distracted by something else and minimized the screen, and eventually forgot about it. About ten minutes later I hear that familiar Lost music, and I was really confused for a second, and then remembered the site. After that it worked fine for me.

Don't know if that helps at all, but just thought I'd tell you.

Not sure if you've already found an answer to your question; if you haven't - it's the season clue finding activity (spoliery link). You have to watch a video which ends by dumping you into Sam's bedroom. If you've already done that, but your activity box is still red, then it's just the site glitching. A lot of people had that problem, and it seems to get resolved if you do the whole thing over (just make sure you're logged in).
